A brand new cut, said to be from Ciara’s ‘Fantasy Ride’ LP (due early 2009), surfaced today – a collaboration with singer/song-writer The Dream titled ‘Keep Dancing’.
The airy, laidback feel of the song is a real juxtaposition to the song’s title- which suggests something more uptempo and hard-hitting. For what it is – a decent R&B slower paced effort – it’s works. Though, I sure hope Ms. Harris is cooking up something of a higher caliber than this, as much of the material I’ve heard thus far sounds very hit or miss.

Sam for once I would have to say that you are very, very late on this. This song surfaced onto the net about 4 months ago along with 3 other songs (Echo, Lover's Thing which also features The-Dream, & a song called Yearbook)… I thought that you would at least post Ciara's new single "Never, Never" which is suppose to be released in January 2009.
IMO, Lover's Thing is one of the best leaked tracks outta the other 2 songs I named & Keep Dancing.

This track is SUPER OLD! It isnt even finished and vocals have increased! Its so weird its a good vibe. It makes you have an extacsy out of space feel. Which is good and shows talent. Where music takes you into the artist world. I hope it makes the cut but the finished version of course. Ciara and Dream are meant to collab to male and female prince of our day! Although Rihanna is his daughter LMAO!

Okay . . . what’s the deal with Ciara . . . I mean not to make too many comparisons but . . . we all know that Beyonce has always pushed ‘Sasha’ on us . . . now that ‘Sasha’ is ‘Fierce’ and has some publicity (magazine covers) everybody wants to think this is new (IT’S NOT) . . . NOW ciara has an alter ego . . . come on . . . I’m not sure who’s idea was more original but you know Ciara will get mad backlash for doing the same thing . . . granted she doesn’t have the best voice . . . but I love to she her perform and the songs that I have heard leak are not that great . . . I’m hoping that her final project has much more to offer

@ Ms. Keia, I agree with you on the Ciara backlash thing. But if you think about it, Beyocne's "Sasha" wasn't the first alter ego we heard. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we start hearing about Sasha in 2006 when B'Day came out? When in 2005, Mary J. Blige came out with her Brook-Lyn alter ego & if I'm mistaken, Garth Brooks had one, right? So, the alter ego thing has been around for years.
On Keep Dancing, the track is okay, but I'm really feeling a song called Lover's Thing, which is another song she has with The-Dream. That song is nice & if Sam were going to post any song, that should've been it… But everybody's talking about this one particular song (Keep Dancing), when it might not even make it onto the "Fantasy Ride" album.

OK……I’M SORRY TO HAVE TO SAY THIS BUT THE LYRICS DON’T MATCH THE BEAT. IT JUST SEEMS LIKE THE BEAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FASTER. JUST MY OPINION. I DON’T LIKE IT.
