Leona Lewis – ‘I Will Be’ Video

Published: Friday 23rd Jan 2009 by Sam

Leona Lewis’ latest video ‘I Will Be’ premiered today. The track will serve as the next release from her ‘Spirit: The Deluxe Edition’ LP (due for a US release February 3rd). About the video, (which stars Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford), it’s pretty decent. Though kinda unremarkable, which let’s face it most videos of today aren’t, it’s refreshing to see Leona in another guise, other than the ‘stand in one place and look pretty balladeer’.

What do you think of the song / video?

The vid kind of falls apart, it feels like the story is barely developed…and the Leona gets arrested.

I Like It! The song gets stuck on my brain after 2/3 spins!:)

The video was rather interesting her acting skills aren’t that bad excluding the scenes of her running from the police; she demonstrated to us an ugly run. As for the song well it’s not bad it has that soothing mood about it. Why she re-releasing her album I don’t know. Honestly it wasn’t that good from the start, but if she and Simon had their eye on thievery Beyonce’s “Halo” than their headed in the right direction for round Two.

How many single Leona released? She should try again, after some singles I don’t even know what’s the name of her album.

Try again? On just 2 singles (one huge and one mediocre) alone, she’s sold over 6 million records worldwide.

Maybe its just not your taste in music.

she should have release “Angel” or “Yesterday” as the US single… this song is okay, but i dunno if it’s gonna do well

i really like this song… she is slowly liking her again… i like the fact that she aint there singing or sunning in the woods… however i feel like the video is kinda half hearted… interesting still…. yay leona

i see people b**** a lot about her running, which i don’t get.. i thought it was very dramatic and well played. The song i absolutely love of course, every track on that album is single material .. i give it an 8/10 because the story didn’t feel like a story .. though good try

Oh boo f****** hoo cut the crap already mr ‘got damn’ … i want her to be with a woman in the video to help gay emancipation. Get over yourself already and stop over-analizing, chace crawford is an it-boy right now it’s pure business … should she have gotten Will Smith?? Or maybe chris brown! YEAH that’d be original .. maybe T-pain could help out as well!……… NEXT

Bleedin Love had black people all up in it so it not a race thing. The Original UK video that is.

Still boring kinda song but good one 4her.

Yesterday or Take A Bow shoulda been singles

Like the song and actually loved the video…..I think the theme was she was trying to protect her lover….and she’s singing about getting her self together so she can be there for him.
