Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige took to the stage at the Neighborhood Ball in honour of Barack Obama last night in Washington, DC. Check out their perfromances below:

Mary J. Blige – Just Fine
Introduced by hubby Nick Cannon, Mrs C’s performance…(…)…got better towards the end. The belt-y parts really gave a nod to ‘the voice’ we know and love(d). Not the most apt of songs to sing considering her vocal state, yet one very befitting to the cause.
Alica and Mary nailed it!!!

Mariah Carey did fine, I wish she woulda performed “Fly Like A Bird” for the occasion because it morely fits her current vocal state; but she did well enough. At the beginning, when she was making syllables of “oo-ooh”, it made her sound bad. Mary is so classy now, I love her. Alicia was on-point as usual.

Mary sounded horrible towards the end, that last note was ROUGH as HELL!!!
Mariah, got better towards the end but her voice has gotten worse.

Alicia really did deliver, she was singing from the heart. Mariah was good either song Hero or Fly Like a Bird would be appropriate. Mary got the crowd hyped to start off. All ladies did well.

alicia is always a hit and so is mary….mariah on the other lately has been god awful in every appearance. i suggest she go back for vocal lessons. yes, she can sing..no doubt about that…but, her pitch is waaaaaaaaaayyyyyy off.

y’know what sam, this is annoying as hell. i don’t even really want to hear your personal commentary on stuff anymore because you’re always so biased against certain artists (i don’t care if you say negative things about whoever you want, thats your opinion, but when the moment doesn’t call for it, shut up). beyonce could make a record of pig latin and you would be like ~BRILLIANT, WONDERFUL, HOTTEST CHICK IN THE GAME but anytime other artists are even brought up (especially mariah and rihanna), even on a special day such as inauguration day, you feel the need to say something snide and condescending. if anything, for one day, you should have given it a rest. keep it positive in 2009, kids.

Mariah did a GREAT JOB!!! Even when she sung with the ensemble (Stevie Wonder and everyone else) … She hit the BIGGEST and BEST Note of all the women!!!
I can’t believe people are talking bad about her when she wasn’t even bad at singing. I thought she did great and sung it almost identical to the RECORDED version (which most people can NOT do!!)
And Mary J Blige was NOT DEAD ON with that HORRIBLE LAST NOTE!!! How can yall sit here and complain about Mariah’s small ad libs (which was pretty), but completely ignore Mary’s WRONG NOTE (which was SO LOUD AND LONG AND WRONG)
This site make me sick, becasue it always criticize good singers for doing GOOD PERFORMANCES!!!

In The Winner Is…………. I’m gone have to give to MjB; even though I’m not a fan of “Just Fine” she brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm to her performance. As for Ms. Keys she always delivers a good showing but this go round she seemed a little lit-winded but still good just not as solid as previous showings. Now if Beyonce thinks a Diva is a female version of a hustler, well Mariah proves her wrong and shows her that a Diva is a Female that sings with a diamond encrusted microphone stand.

I don’t know what these haters are talking about, let them, but this performance was awesome!
Yes, at the beginning she was just taking it easy and relaxed but when the climax came she went back to the original rendition and sound of the song and made it really touching and inspirational! Thank you, Mariah!

Mariah sounded like shit, she sounded like someone trying to sing like Mariah Carey.

Well, I’m not on HoneyBFly but I’m still a great Mariah fan!
In fact, she’s my favorite artist in the world ever and has been my inspiration through all my conscious life.
And how could she not be? Mariah is an icon, her voice, her songs, her looks, her talent… how could you not be moved by all this? Her music is a real treasure that’s gonna be with me everywhere I go in all the years to come. And I hope she would bring us more fun and pleasure through that time too…

everybody is talkin about how bad mariah sounded. She sounded good to me. Not great, but good. She definitely didn’t sound bad. I think she did better than alicia, who usually sounds good doing that song. That wasn’t her best performance of No One. She sounded dry, like she needed some water. Just seemed like she was yelling. I still lover her though. Just sayin that wasn’t her best. Mary, Now she killed it.
