    The concept is so cool and artistic. I like watching her take chances. However, the pic on the defjam website where her hair looked like an inkblot was a better choice to me.

    Message to BEYDABESS:
    Not everyone is trying to be like Beyonce. When’s the last time B had a Photoshopped album cover like this? Right.

    Anyway, I applaud Ms. Amerie on her attempts to actually be creative and bring some art back into album covers, but this just kind of looks cheap. TBH, most of these promo shots have just looked messy, the only one that really looked good and professional was:

    Honestly, I applaud the attempt at some creativity, but it just kind of looks cheap. As a matter of fact, most of these have looked kind of cheap. :/ She herself looks great but the FX…not so much. The only one that I really really liked was the one I posted; to me, it’s the only one that honestly looks professional.

    dope! i don’t think any of the album artwork looks cheap at all. they’re very abstract and i’m feeling the free flow aesthetics.

    for the ones that say that the cover sux didnt you notice it matches the album title? in love & war on a side she is mechanized, red, blood color, darkness ( war ) on the other side there’s no effects, more light, more white ( love )

    and for the beyonce fans, most of you dont even know how to spell on the internet that shows how stupid you are for being obssessed by that copycat and for being dumb and imature, amerie a beyonce wannabe? I see a classy lady here doing her thing, not a overrated copycat that copies 70s groups coreographys, pseudonyms (David Bowie was the first with Ziggy Stardust and it looked so cool not like Beyonce, Sasha Fierce just looks like she has a mental disturb), says she writes lyrics when she only writes 2 words.
    For fuck sake, Amerie is the only one “new” doing something cool, unlike Ciara, Keri Hilson and those amateurs that always do the same thing.
    Beyonce as talent but please stop saying that other artits are trying to be like her when she does nothing inovative and original.

    Critics have labeled Amerie many times to be underrated competition to Beyonce and I think that along with Amerie coming up with hotness that sets her apart gets them jealous and threatened. Hence haters who don’t even like A or her music breaking their necks to come into her post and call her a Fail lol. Beyonce has some of the most unintelligent fans that I know lol.

    VERY HOT cover!! A will do her thing whether she sells well or not. You can’t hold a good artist DOWN!

    The cover is great, but the few tracks I have heard off the album are so so. Why R U, is great and is a signature Amerie joint. Loved it! It’s just a hard time right now for the music industry, hello Lady Love by Latoya Luckett is pure fire and it was a dud on the charts. Rhianna’s crap album sold 8 million…whattttt? So too bad for Amerie and Latoya, it’s not about talent..it’s now just about celebrity:(

    Beyonce does indeed have the most unintelligient fans I have ever known.? They just argue without any sense of direction which is as stupid as it gets with the average b stan. The whole point of arguing is not to just argue for the sake of it but to come up with reasonable pros and cons on the subject. Sadly with b stans, it’s totally unreasonable,which undscores the type of personality the individualz making such unintelligients response are! On this note I couldn’t agree with you more.

    A dares to be different and I wish her every success there is and I certainly pray she never caters to unintelligient individuals but to those who are intelligient. So all you ignorant,b stans can stick your MFA with B. Nobody cares. There is enough room for everybody. If you guys wanna be dumb, Go ahead!

    I prefer the one with the animals on it. The Love and War sections were clearer than on this cover. There was so much going on, but on this she’s just posing.

    The promo shots all look beautifully done. A pity the music isn’t up to the same high standard.
