New Song: Chris Brown – ‘Crawl’ (New Single!)

Chris Brown is looking to reclaim his chart-topping status with not one, but two comeback singles. Along with the previously heard ‘I Can Transform Ya’, The Messenger’s produced ‘Crawl’ will also serve as part of Brown’s dual assault on the charts (no pun intended…no, seriously lol).

Put simply, I’m really liking this one. With its epic-sounding production and great lyrical content, Chris may just be onto a winner with this one. While I’m not at all being ‘messy’, I must say it’s rather ironic that Chris’ material (IMO) craps all over Rihanna’s ‘comeback’ effort. Just saying…

Hit or Miss?

Chris’ singles have to “crap” all over Rihanna’s because he lost a lot of fans etc after the whole incident but I think he will do well because good music is good music.

This is a great song ( Situation or not) this is the type song he needs and he nailed it.

Stop your drawn-out rants on Rihanna. Honestly, we understand you don’t like her. But for the past week and a half, every single one of your posts has been injected with your personal vendetta against her. What’d she do, refuse to do an interview?

Honestly, I find it ironic how you continue to attack her as a “talentless hack” when I could go back into your archives and find lengthy posts of you touting all of her talent. Stop with this shameful BS and have a little bit of consistency!

You are no more consistent than a politician. You have flip-flopped on all of your “opinions” and turned them into full-blown rants that seem more personal than justified. And you say that you hope to make this a career in life?

Please, even Perez Hilton isn’t this hypocritical and even HE knows where the line is drawn. Continue attacking people like Rihanna, Mariah, and Kanye and see where your exposure goes — nowhere.

You don’t cater to hoodrats, by the way. Stop “talking s***” for s***’s sake and please improve your blog before any credibility YOU thought you had goes further down the drain.

ACTUALLY PREREZ IS WAYY MORE HYPOCRITICAL AND RUDE. BUT ANYWAY THIS IS SAM’S BLOG AND IF HE WANTS TO CRAP ON PEOPLE THEN THATS HIS OPINON WE DON’T HAVE TO VISIT.

I must say I am liking this one too.

Honestly, what the F*** is the difference between this and the Rihanna single? This is an obvious response to Rihanna’s song. Maybe this one can crawl past #30 the the Itunes charts.

I have to agree with the FLIP-FLOP comment. I remember Sam praising Beyonce for releasing DIVA as a second single, then upon the news of Video Phone being released saying that her single choices were horrible. ?? Does he not remember his own comments? Well, whatever. I like it when I see “review up in a bit” and can just see what’s new without his slanted read on things. It’s very upsetting, actually. Like hearing Bush say that there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Sam you always bring the Lolz…. But I agree 100%. I think this song was perfect for him. Its better than ICTY, but I’m excited for the video for both of his songs.

I have to agree with SG above. Sam, your blog is really becoming a one-note joke. EVERY post references Rihanna being terrible, and yet when your page loads, HER SONG PLAYS!

Do you not see the idiot you’ve become? Please just get a grip on yourself. It’s one thing to slam an artist, and a total other thing to do what you are doing – particularly when you obviously think Rihanna’s song is worth something because you have it set to auto-play when your page loads.

Important side note for people like “whatever” (commenter above) – Chris Brown did NOT lose everything. He may have lost NOTHING. All of his (obviously stupid) young female fans supported him and turned on Rihanna throughout this ordeal. Nearly every black male celebrity gave him support. He nearly got a free pass for what he did.

    FourFour, on Chris Brown:

“He’s so pointless that anything he can do, someone else can do better. In the realm of young, black entertainers, Lloyd’s a better singer, Omarion has better taste in material (and is quite possibly the better dancer), Marques Houston is cuter (and thus, his sexual ambiguity is more intriguing), Ne-Yo’s a better songwriter, Bow Wow’s got a more convincing swag. And don’t even full-package me, because Usher wraps circles around Chris Brown with more panache in his crow’s feet than Chris has in his twinkle toes.”

ha ha sam..dnt u love how rihanna stans are delusional..they crap you out all the time but still come back.smh…you are def doing something right and love your blog..your rihanna comments are always the truth and funny as hell!!!!

Sam, wow, you go in so hard on Rihanna like she personally did some wrong to you. What did she do? I mean no matter how talentless she may be there is really no need to be so harsh to her. She doesn’t know you and/or probably doesn’t really care much about your opinions on her music/works, so why do you feel the need to spew so much hatred towards her? I mean I am not a fan of hers, but with the bashing you do it has got to be unhealthy; I think it’s best you take a break from Rihanna. Plus, maybe your posts about her will become less biased and more objective.

  19. Whatever October 23, 2009

Regardless, it is a GOOD sound and his video’s have a very promising look. He committed the cardinal sin of hitting a girl BACK, and he’s paid for it financially, career-wise, AND he lost the girl he has “feelings” for. What else do you people want? Do you want the kid to get the death penalty?

  20. ruffnsweet October 23, 2009

    Sam, STFU already.

  21. tia October 26, 2009

i wish you all would shut the hell up….if sam was goin in on the artist you hate the most you would have nothing to say, but because its devil worshipping rihanna its a problem…if you want a site that praises the bish go to sandra rose or perez hilton

The song is a really good song……and no it is nothing like that over depressing sound that rihanna is giving off…i wish she would just model or do hooks and leave the rest alone

  22. ThatGrapefruitJuice October 27, 2009

    I actually really liked this.
