Superstar Beyonce took home the most awards at tonight’s MTV European Music Awards in Berlin, including Best Video for ‘Single Ladies’ (who didn’t see that one coming?!…Well deserved). During her acceptance speech, Ms. Knowles-Carter showed a rare sign of affection to hubby Jay-Z by solely thanking him for (quote on quote) “putting a ring on it!” You got to love ‘love’.
In other Bouncy news, her much anticipated video for new single ‘Video Phone’, featuring Lady GaGa has been postponed due to tragic events in Texas’ Fort Hood army base. The clip was first pushed back to 8pm (US eastern time), however will now premiere at a later date this month.
Why? Oh why couldnt they announce this earlier today. So how far are they delaying the video?

Honestly, if you actually, really, truthfully think about it, artists should stop releasing their music videos if it were because of disastrous incidents. Look around you, there’s thousands of people dying at this hour and several other places buring down the next. As much as I understand why they would postpone the video, I also think that maybe that’s not the only reason. Well, this incident did take place in Texas, where Beyonce was born, so maybe it has a greater significance and impact on her team.
On that note, I think that instead of going on talking bad about those people who have suffered or are suffering in Texas right now, we should leave it out of the picture. Think about it, I highly doubt anyone would die if the video was released a week or month later, right? And I’m not speaking figuratively for that matter. Be patient. The video is bound to premiere soon.
And also one more thing. Not all Beyonce fans are crazy, some just don’t see some thing clearly. And this isn’t particular or an exclusive trait to them only, mind you. And to the comment that was quick to accuse Beyonce fans of worshipping her more than God (a word which we happen to be able to spell ourselves, by the way), just because one is deeply obsessed with the artist, doesn’t mean they put them over God. Heck, some people don’t even believe in God.
So really, there’s a lot of other things to look out for. So why don’t we all just wait… Or pray to God to move whoever in-charge to premiere Video Phone soon. Just saying…
