Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Shakira & Rihanna: Which Will You Be Buying?
Today marks the US (and in many cases, the International release) of new album’s from Lady GaGa, Beyonce, Shakira and Rihanna.
GaGa serves up her 8-track sophomore LP ‘The Fame Monster’, while Beyonce’s ‘I Am…Yours’ concert LP/DVD hits stores too, as does Shakira’s ‘She Wolf‘ and Rihanna’s ‘Rated R’.
With all being such major releases, we, here at That Grape Juice, want to know…

Beyonce! If Rihanna dont stop doing shows and mini concerts no one will buy her stuff sounding like that. I dont get into studio enhanced artist I have to see you in concert and go from there and Beyonce has not failed anyone yet. Rihanna continues to show she is for the studio only! Gaga is fierce also so I will cop that later and Shakira is a required taste live so no time soon.

I will definately be buying the DVD, then the audio is going straight to my IPod. I might get Gaga, but I don’t know if I want the entire “Fame”, or just the new tracks.
Rihanna’s performance at the AMA’s made up my mind. I WILL NOT support an artist who’s talent does not justify the hype.
I fear Shakira is going to flop…maybe it’s just me. I like her , but it’s a recession and my $ is tight.

None. Shakira is the only artist I actually have respect for in this lineup, and Did It Again was my jam (is STILL my jam, technically), but other than that I’m not interested and will not be purchasing the album.
The skank and the he-she are on the re-release/EP tip, and since when do re-releases and EP’s debut higher than actual albums? Please. The one who got her ass beat will be number 1, due solely on sympathy sales (no matter how bad her album sucks ass.) Nevertheless, it’s gonna be an interesting next Tuesday.

I just got my Beyonce DVD/CD, love it, Sweet Dreams Medley is the truth. Wish Prince would have let her keep Beautiful Ones performance, saw it on Youtube, one word”WOW”.
Lady GaGa doesn’t really do it for me, Shakira either. Rihanna, sorry not this time, the AMA performance sealed the deal on me not buying it.

I’ve been a Beyonce fan for some time so I picked up the new DVD…… SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED! Its like I’ve seen this all before, she hasn’t offered up anything new in years. I need. Her to evolve as an artist. And I can’t believe she attempted to cover Anita Baker’s sweet love… Epic fail, she lacks soul.. listening to her made me miss Fantasia!

Just bought her album, and I love it! Rihanna and Gaga have some good cuts, but I really can’t get into the whole dark image and dark era they portray. I don’t get it, why so sad? And Beyonce…..y? Love Shakira to death!
