Mary J. Blige Performs The US National Anthem At World Series
R&B royalty Mary J. Blige gave a rousing rendition of the US national anthem, ‘The Star Spangled Banner’, at the final of the World Series at the Yankee Stadium in New York last night. Though not the best live showing I’ve seen of the song, Mary held her own with the song, which many a diva has tried their hand at.
Tidbit: The New York Yankees won their 27th World Series title, defeating the Philadelphia Phillies to do so.

Nice try !!!!!!!!!!! This was terrible. When you try to do to much in making it your own, you get the end result of forgetable There have been worse renditions from star singers, but Mary seemed to make it about herself. Drama queen at its worst. From the sunglasses prop, snapping them off her face half way thru being off key at one point. Your much better than the performance you put on. Others have their own oppinion, Mary you are no Whitney Houston !!!!!!!!!!
