Ofcourse, Mariah’s been releasing an album every year since she started way back in the late 80’s. With Whitney, it’s about quality and taking time out and even with the few albums she’s done, Whitney’s numbers are pretty amazing, imagine if she released and album every other year!! Love both Whitney & Mariah, to me the best forever!

When the media mentions her sales being the top selling they are talking about the soundscan era or modern day which she is in fact # 1 This is the system the industry looks at.

God I love this woman…people can hate all they want..saying she doesn’t sound the same or look the same or that she’s a bitchy “diva” and w/e else they want to say..but I’ve never looked at it like that…you ever feel like you can really relate to someone you don’t even know? Mariah’s always been someone I feel like I can relate to..I can’t even explain it. not to menion she’s beautiful, she’s a legend, she works her ass off and deserves what she has, and most of all, she is HUMAN..people fail to see that way too often.

Mariah did not start to release albums in the 80’s.. Mariah released her first album in June 1990… (1991,1992,1993,1994,1995,1997,1998,1999,2001,2002,2003,2005,2008,2009)
and now Madonna, started in 1983 (1984,1986, 1987, 1989,1990,1992, 1994,1995,1996,1998, 2000, 2001,2003, 2004,2005,2007,2008,2009)
