Extended Preview: Chris Brown On 20/20

Published: Thursday 3rd Dec 2009 by Trent

The extended preview of Chris Brown’s ’20/20′ interview hit the airwaves today. The special, hosted by Robin Roberts, will be shown on ABC this Friday. In the clip, Brown discusses ‘the incident’ with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna and addresses several of the statements made against him by the Bajan model. Interesting…I won’t say anything until I see the full interview.

Yeah… that was a pretty good clip. I’d love to see them both turn this into a good thing for the people who look up to them. Chris and Rihanna both have a lot of power with this situation.

I love Chris Brown and I wish him all the best, people need to leave him alone and stop treating him like monster, his young and like he often says his human but people are always going to bring up this incident regarding him for now on and I think that’s sad, people always want to focus on the negative and remind others of their mistake, instead of allowing them to move on, with peace.

I know the haters are going to come on soon and say, his not sorry, his a woman beater blah blah blah, you all don’t know him and you all don’t know how he feels deep down, your all not the one, who is famous and has so many people judging you and calling you names and saying your a bad person, over something you did what was wrong, so many people do things they regret, serious or not that serious but we all don’t have the worlds media reporting on our lives and mistakes, like the likes of Chris Brown at the age of 20.

Calling him names and wishing on his downfall, is not going to make any different, it just shows how ignorant and judgemental people are and how the world is, ruthless and digging for dirt on people to throw at them and drag them down.

No one is perfect and we all mess up once in a while, we all have emotions and some people do deserve chances in life to prove themselves and people can change and learn from their mistakes, instead if keep bashing Chris Brown at every opportunity, why don’t people see how he handles himself from now on as a person and if he does something like this again, then we have the right to judge him but for now, he has said sorry countless times, his young and has his whole life in front on him, let the man live his young life and stop throwing stones at him, what he did was wrong but there are thousands of crimes and things people have done much worse, which can be considered sick, Chris beat up his girlfriend, it’s bad but it’s not on the level of some other serious crimes in the news.

Too much people spend more time focusing on what’s going on with the celebs and their scandals then the real issues in the world, for everyone who judges Chris, leave him alone, your words mean nothing and doesn’t change anything.

    Peace and Love xx

does anyone know what happened to toyas-world.net ??? she used to post lots of rihanna stuff but i guess her time is over and so is rihanna ^_^

@ Stephanie great comment…I’m so glad his interviews are positive and mature…He could be pointing the finger because Rihanna isnt all innocent here..They have both abusive backgrounds..Rihanna has admitted to busting a bottle on her brother’s head so I know she didnt jus sit there and was all calm and he jus snapped and hit her…Abuse is unacceptable on both sides whether its physical or verbal…Jus because men can be stronger than women it dont mean its acceptable or should be looked over when a woman does it…Example the Tiger Woods situation people are actually making jokes about the wife possibly hitting him..Think about this if Rihanna hit on Chris and he fleed like Tiger would yall call her a beater and call for an end to her career..Would yall call Chris weak if he would have said he was the one abused..What if she has been hitting in him and this time he got sick of it and snapped..All yall know girls do be putting their hands on men but as soon as the man snaps off and knock the s*** out of them they holler abuse…Theres a double standard and its sad…I dont condone either way but dont condemn dude cause I know theres 2 sides to this story and at the end of the day we are all human plus its not for me to judge the next person..Im not a stan, fan or obessed with this s*** I jus love good music and wish that we can get back to jus the music their lives should be private I think some of this stuff is goin to far there should be some boundaries on how much we know bout these celebs..

I have a lot of issues with Chris Brown/the incident with Rihanna and how he’s handled this, but the main thing is that when Rihanna’s 20/20 interview aired, he had a hissy fit about things staying private and whatnot. And then what does he do? Run to 20/20 to do an interview his damn self. Hypocrite.

I also think the only reason a lot of people still support him is because they don’t like Rihanna, which is ridiculous.

  11. melzy December 3, 2009

    @ ……

you must be on some type of cheap drugs…. they asked him to do this interview to respond to what rihanna said he did not ask them. get your facts right HATER and also people are supporting him not only because they dont like rihanna but its because of what she said on that 20/20 interview (threw him under the bus)

    Go Chris Go

  12. AWOLLUVA December 3, 2009

No matter what his few fans think (they really are few and far between as MOST people still hate him for what he’s done), he’ll forever be known for ‘the incident’ FIRST, and his music SECOND. It’s a damn shame too because even though this wannabe Michael Jackson swagger jacker isn’t “all that” when it comes to overall talent and originality, there’s that “it factor” thing about him that would have taken him places.

He’ll continue to go places, as his career has indeed survived his abuse toward Rihanna (to the dismay of many, I’m sure), but he will forever have the “Woman Beater” title attached to his name from this point on, no matter how many interviews he does.

A celebrity can survive the scandal, but the scandal will never fully leave the celebrity.

(To Cojukoro [the first comment], no sweetheart…he is NOT “somewhat innocent”, so let’s not even begin to go there.)

  13. THIS IS JUST CRAZY! December 3, 2009

IS HE ON TRIAL AGAIN? DAMN…THE WHOLE WORLD NEED TO BE ON 20/20…

  14. melzy December 3, 2009

    @ AWOLUVA

    STFU….

  15. Raychel December 3, 2009

Okay this whole madness needs to stop. rihanna goes on 20/20 now chris brown goes on 20/20. cant they just stop interviewing about the situation and focus on their music. I mean, chris deen lots of interviews already and after rihanna goes, he all of a sudden takes the offer to go as well. You had enough time to explain yourself, talk about something else, this is getting REALLY irritating I swear…

I Have A Very Strong Feeling You Guys Are Gonna Be in For A Shocking Surprise in his interview! As I’ve Been Told He goes into the details of thier relationship leading up to the Incident. Its Crazy to me how One night changes a mans entire life, after from what I HEAR HE TOOK TOO MUCH AND FINALLY SNAPPED. NOT CONDOING IT BUT I THINK THERE IS MORE THAN ONE PARTY TO BLAME HERE. AND TO THE ONE WHO SAID THE CHRIS BROWN FANS ARE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN. GIVE HIS ALBUM ONE WEEK OUT! I THINK YOUR GONNA BE IN FOR A SURPRISE TOO! ANd STOP HATING. YOU THINK YOUR PERFECT OR SOMETHING?

  19. Mr.727 December 4, 2009

I don’t care what the reason was that Chris “THA BRUISER” Brown gave for his behavior is, HE IS WRONG FOR IT….To minimize the severity of what he did is to literally spit in the face of every woman who has ever been victimized by a man…From the police report, he clearly stated he was going to kill her…He told her that in no uncertain terms..He also punched her in the mouth till it filled with blood…HER BLOOD…He further went on to bite her ear and proceeded to choke her till she went into unconsciousness…He then called for a ride and left Rihanna on the side of the road until medical personnel showed up…Sorry, but I can’t in my right mind see how any one could potentially see this as Rihanna’s fault unless they were mentally impaired! That’s the only thing I can think of…Now some people may say that “she hit him first”, but here’s the thing: If he had a cell phone to call for a ride “after” he *****aulted Rihanna, why didn’t he use it “before” it ever took place??? Wanna know why?? Because he planned on beating that woman….He hit her specifically in the face and purposefully attacked her so that her looks would be in jeopardy when he finished…For any of you women on here who say that “He’s cute” or “he dances well, I’d do him!!”
Please allow me to be the first to say that you are IDIOTS…For you to allow ANY man to brutally *****ualt you or any other woman for that matter, you are just as wrong as he was…What low and base creatures you are to even suggest he was anywhere near right for what he did?? HE LEFT THAT GIRL ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND DIDN’T KNOW WHETHER SHE WAS ALIVE OR DEAD WHEN HE LEFT…HE IS S*****!!!! I have personally dated an “Island girl” or 2, and they are some of the most beautiful and caring women I have ever personally met…They treated me well and I in return did the same…Quick fact: Any woman will get upset and possibly physical if they find out you cheated…White, Black, Asian, or Latin…It makes no difference..All women feel that way, so in short, Why be upset with Rihanna for something any other woman would do in the same situation??? I GOTTA ADMIT, THERE ARE SOME HATEFUL, SPITEFUL AND EVEIL WOMEN ON THIS SITE…Don’t bother telling me how I’m wrong for not liking Chris Brown or how I should forgive him, because some things can be forgiven, but not forgotten…By the logic some of you use, we should free every criminal in jail right now…SMH…..

Bajan Model, really? F****** jackasses. Honestly, she’s got better vocals than Chris, even Chris is nasal when he sings. So many big stars have nasal voices, Britney, Justin, it’s like get over yourselves. The Bajan superstar would have been more appropriate if you didn’t wanna us the word singer.

  21. Dani December 4, 2009

I’m just curious, why is no one questioning his number of interviews, the timing for this interview considering his album comes out this month, and why he’s decided to discuss the details of the February incident when he said he wouldn’t?

  22. bobs December 4, 2009

He should beat Beyonce to a bloody pulp next. Maybe that will make Sam angry? Nah. Breezy can’t do no wrong, here he is doing an interview about beating the s*** out of Rihanna the week his album drops – and not getting any s*** for it. He’s been talking about it more than she. Youtube, MySpace, Larry King, 20/20…. He even brags about busting Rihanna’s windows and blames her for cheating first in ‘Famous Girl’.

This kid is DUMB! His album is getting TRASHED in reviews… I mean pure HATRED. And now this interview? Hello DANCING w/ THE STARS.

  23. Haters, your all stupid December 4, 2009

To Bobs and all the haters who come on Grapejuice everyday to knock Chris, you all fail

His album is brilliant and anyone who is really hating so much must be hardcore Rihanna fans, i notice it’s the same old people coming back and hating on every CB post on every blog site.

Who cares about the reviews, their not judging the album, their judging him because they don’t like him but the fact is no matter what Chris Brown did, HIS FAR MORE TALENTED THEN RIHANNA, WILL EVER BE, FACT!!

  24. DuMMies December 4, 2009

all the Rihanna stans are nothing but haters anyway..cuz what the say are not even opinions..theirs are pure hatred yo..lmaooo@ R****** being a better entertainer than Chris Brown..thats so funny it makes no damn sense..I like how people dont believe that men can be abused by females..theres lots of men that have alot of respect for women..that no matter how much the female hit them..they wont lash out on them..thats probably what happened to him..who knows..cuz men dont wnna be viewed as weak..but either way..abuse is abuse whether its physical or verbal..its abuse..what he did was wrong..and he already accepted responsibility and that half the world hates him..so i dont know why people still poppin veins on their foreheads..everytime Chris Brown decides to do something..or do something positive..and they want to come with the negative..i’ll support him..everyone deserves a second chance..and if u DumBasseS made a huge mistake..you would be the first person looking for someone to FORgive ur ass..so cut the b*******..

  25. hilson December 4, 2009
