Christmas seems to have come a few days early for Beyonce fans, as not one but two new cuts from the 28 year old superstar have surfaced today – the previously posted ‘Black Culture’ and now ‘Waiting’. Though little is known about the track in terms of when it was recorded (‘B’Day’ or ‘I Am…’ sessions), it has been confirmed that the cut was produced by hit-makers Stargate.
With this sounding very much like an early demo, it’s hard to judge it as anything other than that. For if I was to, the words ‘dated’ and ‘repetitive’ would pretty much sum it up.
Why do I have a feeling, these are previously recorded songs that didn’t make it on the IASF album, it’s OK..as the rest of the music.
Kinda like..one of those songs on the album that isn’t bad, but not your favorite. 3/5. =] No other album like Dangerously in Love!!! man….
EXPECT more songs to “Leak”, as Beyonce takes a “break”, songs will LEAK to keep people talking about her, and anticipating a new album…so …what’s next…the first two were okay.

No-Yo write this song but Beyonce version sounds like garbage. She shouldve stuck with the way NeYo arranged it.

However Vocally & Production wise this is a nice cut. It would be nice if Bey did songs that were more Darker & less colorful though, She did kinda do that on some of the songs on the sasha disc but I want darker like *SIDENOTE* Rihanna- Rude Boy, Fire Bomb & Stupid in love should be her next singles after the poor success of her pre single Wait your turn & the 1st & 2nd singles RR & Hard…

I think the beginning sounds a little like Kelly b/c they have similar voices but Beyonce’s voice is stronger. Beyonce likes to slowly build her voice up on some parts of some songs, sort of like a vocal tease until it reaches full strength. So the pre-build up part sounds a lot like Kelly. I agree that the somewhat restrained tone had a more youthful sound to it. I think the song sounds like a pretty good album cut to groove to but not a main release to carry a CD.
Her voice captures my heart, but this track is special especially at the beginning her voice flows incredibly . She is Amazing…she just keeps getting better…I don’t just want I need another album.
@Erica Leak or not, people will talk about her regardless. You control your daily dose of Beyonce. Anywho, the song is alright. Her vocals were tight (as usual), but overall I like Black Culture better. Here’s hoping to some more leaks.

How powerful Beyonce’s voice is does not have to do with anything in the song, I believe she sounds like Kelly because she’s singing at a low register.

i really like this. it has a kinda 90’s feel to it kinda like a “tender kisses”/ “i love your smile” mix its nice. somebody else mentioned the vocal tease! KUDOS!! its her signature! one of the things i love most about alot of her vocal arrangements1 she justs hits you with a little bit at a time, ant then kills it! …the mark of a legend.
