R&B crooner Usher has been very busy with the preparations for his new album, ‘Raymond vs. Raymond’. One of the songs surfacing from his studio sessions is the Polow Dan Don-produced track entitled ‘Little Freak’ which features ‘it’ rapper of the moment, Nicki Minaj. ‘Raymond vs. Raymond’ hits stores on March 1st, 2010.
This is the first track from the Usher’s project that I hands down enjoyed from beginning to end. Usher really recaptured that sexual flare that made him one of R&B’s premiere acts of the decade. Nicki’s verse also ties in well, with both acts providing raw swagger over the production without getting lost in the mix. Polow did such a good job with the beat that I was happy that he let it play for over a minute by itself at the end. Great job!

This is terrible. The rapper is the same girl who plagued one of Robin Thicke’s songs off his new album. I can’t stand her.
The beat overpowers Usher’s vocals during the chorus. I can barely make out what he’s singing. Nothing original about the song at all.
I’d also like to point out that part of the beat is take from Stevie Wonder’s “Living For The City” but does so in a bad way.

hmm……i think it’s the best thing from him so far however…….. it’s ok. Nikki did a good job too. It’s still an OK song, one that will have to grow on me but im sure it will. I’m rooting for him. I can’t wait to read this interview with rico love. I would love to hear a kelly ft usher song or vice versa.

Any rapper who jumps on a track from a talented artist such as Robin Thicke and talks about her “pussy poppin” lowers the credibility and overall quality of the work. I have his other albums but she is one of the reasons why I still have not bought Robin’s new album. She is trash that has no class.

She uses her sex appeal and thats cool. This is going to be huge along with OMG and Daddy’s home. Mark my words, this will eventually explode everywhere.
To everyone saying he fell off, he slid a bit but not as hard as many other artists have done. For example look at 50 cent, Enrique Iglesias, Nelly, Sean Paul, Christina Aguiliera, Jessica Simpson, Eminem (sort of) they fell off even harder than Usher did in 2008.
Here I stand wasn’t as bad as every1 said it was, the problem was everyone was comparing it to confessions and that’s why people are saying he fell off but truth is he never really left. He is still Rnb’s leading man as of today.
