With new music popping up in every direction, Christina Milian decided to address some of her fans’ concerns about the status of her ‘Elope’ LP, which is yet to be given a release date. The singer revealed that she is currently considering some new material for the album and cleared up some misconceptions about the name of her song ‘Welcome To Vegas’. Here is some of what she said:

I was just taking a break but def not done! I think it’s important to find the right direction for the new stuff we do.

So I am, and will be, listening to some new stuff and discovering my growth thus far and apply that to the new album. W2V (Welcome to Vegas) is actually called ‘Elope’ and was the title track to the album originally. So… I will be back in the studio very soon. {Source}

Milian seems to be on point with everything this time around and is making sure that she covers all of her bases. Careful planning is crucial for an artist to have a successful record, and with her pregnancy and recent marriage to The-Dream, it looks like she has all of her priorities in order.  As long as she can create another track like ‘Elope’, I sense that this album will be her best to date.

Thoughts?

i used to love her, and us against the world was a hot track!

but i think after giving birth she will be completely done

her image is based on being s***, like the pic above…
and with a child and a man who looks like shrek, the sexyness is gone

elope is not that hot, its ok, but not for a comeback single

    zipper is a cool track

    btw, she destroyed her image…

i mean, she came out and was an actress, not that successfull, but ok, a singer with some nice songs (especially her 2nd album was great) and a songwriter…didnt she wrote play for j-lo?

and now? she married one of the ugliest men in the showbiz, just because he is a successfull songwriter…

and…personally speaking, she looks like s*** these days

Are some of you people really serious? Christina Milian is one of the most under rated singers out! She’s talented and beautiful inside and out you guys really know nothing about her! So amazin was a cd that people slept on with such potential her company did her so wrong and I hope she gets her break through this year! Elope the single is a great track jumped out of my seat when the full version leaked 🙁 I’m really hoping and looking forward to seeing her again and to buy the album!

    so amazin was great, yes

and “say i” was one of the worst songs on the cd, they should have released “gonna tell everybody”

You would think C.Mili is the biggest celeb in the world with how often this sh*t site posts about her. Love how TGJ hates on real, successful, platinum-selling artists and stans of Christina Milian and Kelly Rowland LOL

It’s a shame that “In A Perfect World” wasn’t nominated for “Best Contemporary R&B album”

Elope, Chamaleon, Zipper, Us Against The World were HOT. They need to put this songs on the album.
