According to reports, R&B star Ciara has secured a lucrative endorsement deal with Adidas. The singer, who is currently hard at work on her 4th studio album, joins other high-profile names including David Beckham to front the Adidas Originals 2010 global marketing campaign. As part of the deal, the 24 year old will serve as a spokesperson in the campaign’s TV commercials worldwide, as well as feature as a model in the print ads for the ladies line.
The Adidas deal adds to the ever-growing list of sponsors/endorsements Ms. Harris has under her belt, which as at writing include Verizon, DoSomething.org, Express (Skinny) Jeans and fashion designers Givenchy and Pucci.{Source}

I’m so proud of this girl… I’m actually a fan of big voices, but Ciara is different for me. she makes good music! I have every cd and DVD she has put out lol.
It’s funny how everybody turned their back on her around the time “Love Sex Magic” was released (which was a hit).. Let me tell you, the real flop singers and untalented hos don’t get the endorsements! Especially when they aren’t even promoting an album right now!

rofl, when the fans dont have reasons to be happy with the sales or the lack of success that she has, they get happy when she gets endorsement deals, lmao, that’s why this is getting worse everyday, “singers” are not singers anymore, they are brands, that’s why they dont even focus on their music and do shit, her 1st album was cool, but she aint a superstar, a superstar is known and recognised all over the world and I never heard this chick name here in Europe ( I travel alot ).

@lol as a certified stan i can say we don’t get offended like that, we’re not the one’s with the ignorant status statistic. you make a valid point/question. to answer, she got the whilimina deal because of who she is. most models are not 5/7 and she’s no kate moss so…..also, whilimina markets her for her status as a platnum selling rnb primarily. that would explain why she gets more deals than anyone on their roster at he moment.
for the record, addidas is world wide and is the lead sponsor for soccer (the most popular sport in the world) and worn by the professionals of the sport. just because you are limited to local promotion of nike or jordans and therefore don’t wear addidas doesn’t mean it’s not a big deal.

ok……well tbf the sad thing is, we are all a bit surprised she is able to land these deals. I love me some cici, but her label just are not doing her justice. When was her last single?
LAS was confirmed as a single…then nothing. I can only hope she is snapping up these deals, so that when the time is right she will be everywhere, with MAXIMUM exposure, hot adverts, banging singles and ground breaking videos…….cos if not its a DAMN shame.

Ciara has never even had a major top 10 hit as a SOLO artist. All her hits, she either had missy, justin, petey pablo, etc on them. she could never do it alone. All of Aaliyah’s hits has been solo,
