ok lady gaga crazy as usuall beyonce was simply awfull she did too much to a song that is so simply but that is ordinary beyonce she always overdoes everything but at least she wasnt wearing her swimsuit but pink was simply amazing she was on key too

  9. GeeMan January 31, 2010

Straight up Pink put everybody on notice tonite with that performance she was fresh creative and the vocals were strong. Gaga”s performance was good. Bee was ok but glad to see she won a big award.

  14. jeffrey January 31, 2010

Nobody is Hating On Beyonce, her performance was one of the best but Com’on If I were a boy?
She could had done Halo or even A Medley of single ladies, sweet dreams and if i were a boy.

She did good but she did not knock it out the park like she usually does.

  15. Ben January 31, 2010

I didn’t quite like the Beyonce’s performance. Not a hater, and it is not the fact that she didn’t sing it well, but she covered a song that nobody really cared about, was not even nominated, and half of the performance was not her own material. I can understand that “Single Ladies” has run it’s course, but why not “Halo,” I mean, it only garnered her a RECORD OF THE YEAR nomination? It could have even tied in with the MJ tribute in a way. Anyways, even though I don’t listen to Pink that much, I enjoyed her graceful performance. I liked Gaga’s outrageousness as well. Jamie and TPain would have been on my list as well if they didn’t lipsync though.

  16. DDT January 31, 2010

Pink continues to f****** blow me away. I have always liked her…but next time she tours near me I would spend bank to see her live. Just incredible!

  17. Shawty M. January 31, 2010

I`ve never commented ONCE on this blog….but DAMN….Pink just BLEW ME AWAY!!!. Yea she might have done this similar idea at one of her concert but yu CANNOT deny that was unique and somethin the Grammys needed…somethin out of the box.

When it comes to Bey….it was good…thats it….nothing special. Nd for real….why the heck did she perform those songs for lol

  18. Shawty M. January 31, 2010

    THE RECORD HAS BEEN BROKEN!!!!!

  28. Qtis January 31, 2010

Only the tone daath and blind would not appreciate Beyonce’s greatness. She is the most complete artist in the game right now. Gotta love the nerve of GaGa but cant overlook the bad vocals. I know most people dont know the difference but those who do know what Im talking about.

  29. Justin January 31, 2010

Ahhhhh!!! Bee’s performance was definitely the best of the night!! And she is the first and only FEMALE ARTIST to WIN 6 GRAMMYS in ONE NIGHT!!! You can’t touch that girl.

  30. Rob January 31, 2010

This was the worst Beyonce performance I have ever seen. Wtf. She was off with her tone and had no business singing Alanis’s song and swinging that weave sooo damn hard Lol. But Im glad she won her awards cuz she deserved to but the perormnce – no thanks.

  31. Rihanna Flop January 31, 2010

this grammy show belonged to beyonce

  33. Domo January 31, 2010

Mary J. is so amazing! I am so proud to be her fan!

  34. HuH? January 31, 2010

Pink is a great performer, but she did the same routine at another award show…I think it was the MTV Awards (could be wrong).

This was not Beyonce’s best performance, but it was nice to see her perform without gyrating all over the place.

Eminem really shined on Drake’s song.

  35. ::SquareBizz2020:: January 31, 2010

OKAII HATERS PICK YA JAWS UP!!!
ONCE AGAIN B THE F***** BEAST SHUT S*** DOWN!!! ANOTHER RECORD UNDER HER BELT!!

  36. Rihanna Flop January 31, 2010

i loved when lady gaga dropped her glasses
i know it was an accident but im happy we got to see her face, beautiful performance

  37. lostonesz January 31, 2010

pink performance wuz the highlight of this years grammy

  38. Mojo January 31, 2010

Great show even better performances…But omg Pink’s performance had to be the best…crazy vocals while swinging around from all those angles and then at one point she was covered with water?!?! Always knew Pink was an elite act, but damn.

  39. phil_up January 31, 2010

It boggles my mind that people can’t appreciate Beyonce’s phenomenal performance. Granted she may have oversung it a bit for some, but vocals were definitely on point.
    She straight rocked it out!

The girl has transcended R&B singer and went straight to rock star!

  40. HA January 31, 2010

6 F****** GRAMMY AWARDS!!!!!!!! WHO MAD???

  41. January 31, 2010

    random thoughts:

maxwell’s performance was the highlight for me: so effortless
mary sounded great and meshed well with bocelli
pink also had a good vocal night, the routine wasn’t that fresh, though
jamie foxx and BEP were big ol’ messes and provided some comedy
beyonce looked good but didn’t sound good (she oversang it IMO) + the song choice was weird

  42. shelly-chelle January 31, 2010

BEYONCE SLAYED AS USUAL!!! SHE MADE HISTORY TONIGHT WINNING 6 AWARDS WHO MAD????

  43. KEVIN January 31, 2010

So Pink brought Cirque de Soleil from Vegas to the Grammys and she was so phenominal? Whatever man. She was good no doubt, but that’s about it.

Beyonce rocked it and I enjoyed the masculine/feminine role play she brought to the performance, which fit the song and video. Still didn’t like the single choice, but she more than made up for it with the energy and good vocals.

  44. Slick January 31, 2010

    Yawn, they all stunk!

  45. I am Hatian January 31, 2010

    Pink = Perfection

I watched her performance 10 times. I’m going to sleep with a smile on my face tonite. Peace, love, & happiness.

  46. SWAGGEDUPSTUD February 1, 2010

BEST PERFORMANCE OF THE NIGHT: BEYONCE IF I WERE BOY…… BEYONCE KILLED IT!!!

    1) BEYONCE
    2) MAXWELL
    3) LADY GAGA
    4) PINK
    5) DRAKE FT LIL WAYNE, EMINEM AND TRAVIS PARKER
    6) BLACK-EYED PEAS

  47. HJNJ February 1, 2010

Beyonce killed her performance as always! 6 in one night…..wow, she is a well decorated entertainer! Up there with the greats at this point.

  48. MS.CLAY February 1, 2010

WHAT IN THE F*CK DO THESE PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY ABOUT BEYONCE NOW????

6 GRAMMY’S IN ONE NIGHT!!! NEED I SAY MORE!

PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT TALENT IS APPRECIATES THE BEYONCE PERFORMANCE! THE VOCALS WERE ON POINT, THE STAGE PRESENCE WAS DEFINITELY THERE, AND SHE HAD HIGH ENERGY THE ENTIRE TIME! PEOPLE ALWAYS TRYNA SAY SHE SHAKE HER ASS TOO MUCH AND THAT’S WHY THE PERFORMANCES ARE SO HOT YET SHE DOESN’T DANCE AND THE PERFORMANCE WAS WONDERFUL! NOT MANY PEOPLE CAN DO THAT! SORRY.

AND DOING SINGLE LADIES WOULD BE SO TYPICAL OF HER BECAUSE SHE’S DONE IT ON A MILLION AWARD SHOWS (MTV AWARDS, AMA’S LAST YEAR, ETC.) AND THE LEOTARD AND WAVY WEAVE WAS GETTING OLD SO DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAT PEOPLE DIDN’T EXPECT WAS A SMART MOVE! STRAIGHT VOCALS AND STAGE PRESENCE!!!!!!

HOWEVER MY FAVORITE PERFORMANCE WAS DEFINITELY WAYNE, DRAKE, EM, AND TRAVIS BARKER! LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT! TRAVIS IS A FREAKING MONSTER ON THOSE DRUMS. LOVE HIM! BUT WAYNE IS DEFINITELY THE BIZZ! FAV RAPPER EVER! I CALL MYSELF A WAYNE-HEAD!!! DANG I LOVE LIL WAYNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT MY SECOND FAV PERFORMANCE WAS TIED BETWEEN BEYONCE AND PINK! AND THEN MAXWELL AND THE MJ TRIBUTE(LOVE CELINE DION)

NONETHELESS, THE GRAMMY’S THIS YEAR WAS WAY MORE ENTERTAINING THAN THE PAST FEW YEARS!!!

  49. Truth Sayer February 1, 2010

They’re all apart of the illumanati, so its obvious they are going to dominate. Do your research people, Beyonce is the “queen of music” because she serves the devil. Those of you who love her are all apart of the brain washing plan to take over your minds. If you dont believe me look it up, the truth is there in plain sight.

  50. Pinkpop February 1, 2010

    so happy for beyonce…
have to say this: just watched the MJ tribute… and Ms Fenty is so bitchy… look at her, jow she watches the performance, she has no idea how to act when cameras are on her

  51. Nathan Island February 1, 2010

As an Artist in the community, you strive to both perfect and hone your craft with each day that passes. My father used to say that every day is a school day. You never go through a day without learning some sort of lesson God and Life puts in front of you. Every year, I sit back and I watch the Grammy’s, hoping for a glimmer of inspiration, a moment where I run and grab my ketchup bottle and pretend I just won “Song of the Year”. LOL A total Wendy ‘in my own head’ moment, but still! BEYONCE, BEE, SASHA, whatever this childs name is. Love her. She is a true talent. But with this one folks, I say she missed the mark. I’ve heard some say that she is a ONE TRICK PONY. I’ve heard some hate, I’ve heard most love her. But there is a moment when you can’t seem to give anything FRESH. She seems to REHASH the same performances, with small upgrades (or downgrades IMO!) Tonight, she stomped, she ranted, threw that wild mane, and minus an ass shake or two, gave us the same ish from I AM…YOURS. Then PINK comes out right after. From her tour or not, she simply POOED in B’s face with that one. No stomping, no credits, no accolades , no strained vocals; with simplicity made me stop my own song writing and take notice. Simply great. 6 Grammy’s, 16, to one silly little nomination, you are never too great to take heed to a lesson being taught. SIDENOTE: And before ya’ll press the PLAY button on the HATERADE…lol it is just a simple observation. I am a Beyonce fan (JANET fan first) lol but still… when’s her damn lunch break!?

  52. ash jones February 1, 2010

    tut tut….

another runnaway grammys. once again beyonce dominated. truth be told her album will be one of those in the bargain bin in a couple of years. people will only ever remember it for “single ladies” video which was supposedly stolen choreography.

what goes show with award shows like this is that real talent fails. Beyonce’s single ladies won single of the year (an award for production and songwriting) which is a farse because everyone knows bey doesn’t write her own songs.

all of the performances were mega disappointed bar the Michael Jackson tribute which was fitting. Usher should performed Hey Daddy instead and they should have had someone else doing the tribute (e.g. akon).

the performances apart from the tribute were all really boring, uninspired and lapsical. you realise when you watch them back for second/third time. Gaga should have done ‘monster’ or ‘alijandro’ which MTV is calling her third single.

Beyonce should have done something more icon like a medly. Mary J Blige should have done a more contemporary duet with someone like Neyo. Would have been nice for taylor swift to perform and recieve more awards. JLo should have performed new single “Everybody’s Girl”.
    The End.

  53. Qelz February 1, 2010

Beyonce’s performance was a crazy mess. There is othing about If I Were a Boy that required her to get on the floor shaking like that.

  54. Anndee February 1, 2010

I loved Pink’s performance, thought it was cool that Elton John with his classic voice was singing Lady Gaga’s song, thought Jamie Foxx’s performance was just silly, loved that Roberta Flack did a duet with Maxwell, thought the MJ tribute was nice, I especially liked seeing Smokey Robinson and Celine Dion, I too thought Beyonce oversang If I were a boy and would’ve like it more if she dressed a little masculine and just sang the ballad like on the Tyra Banks show instead of the model stomp and hair twirling, I enjoyed the Eminem, Drake and Lil Wayne performance. Didn’t watch the whole show, but I wasn’t too disappointed with majority of the posted performances.

  55. DizzyGuy1985 February 1, 2010

Pink did Sober at the MTV awards and she was flying from a trapeze. This was not the same song nor type of performance. I would like to see Beyonces clumsy ass get up there and try that????

People keep saying that Pink did this before…but Beyonce pulls everything from her tour and uses it as a performance. Ave Maria at the BET awards was from her tour. So boom!

  56. 12345 February 1, 2010

Pink and Gaga, the best. Beyonce in a few years will have to get a surgery on the vocal chords with all that screaming, for f*** sake

  57. Myika February 1, 2010

Guys its okay to be a Beyonce fan and provide a critique of her performances. It does not make anyone a hater. Some performances are great some are not and guess what it is okay to say so. It really is okay to be an individual and think rationally and not declare that everything Beyonce does is wonderful. If everyone constantly kisses your b*** and says everything you do is wonderful you have offically stopped growning as person and an artist.

The performace last night was manic it was mostly her throwing her hair around, she did not do You Ought to Know any justice. And to be honest I found myself wondering when will this be over.
But I respect her as an artist because she seems to bust her bottom to be the best at her craft. Some performances are hit and some just come off as trying too hard.
So come on people if you are a true Bey fan do not HATE on those who provide a honest crtique. “Never blindly follow; open your eyes and lead”
    Peace and Blessings
    Myka

  58. truthbetold February 1, 2010

I agree with Myika it is okay to be a fan and not worship someone we are all human. I am a huge bey fan that is why I can be real when she doesnt do right and lastnight bey wasnt all that.

  59. florida_girl February 1, 2010

I think she was sending a message with this song because everyone knows this is not a song you perform for the Grammy’s but vocally she killed it…

  60. aries_BLU February 1, 2010

It’s funny that none of the other two members of BEP performed their verses. It’s all about Fergie and Will.i.am now.

  61. Fat, drunk, and ugly, Mariah! February 1, 2010

P!nk’s performance was leaps and bounds the BEST of the nite!

  62. E11 February 1, 2010

pink looked like a dude, sorry

  63. HaYYYYYY February 2, 2010

beyonce n eminem were the best hands DOWNNNNNNNNN

  64. Biasdude February 7, 2010

Beyonce was good as well as Pink, but I think the reason she chose to sing “Boy” was because it wasn’t nominated. It was a good song and one way or another she is going to get a Grammy nomination for “Boy” that’s why she performed it at the Grammy’s. Next year during the Grammy’s she will be nominated for best female performance again with this performance. She’s smart if you ask me, and she put on one hell of a show. I even liked the “You outta know part” it was something different and new for her. So what if she did it on her tour, people have to pay to go her tour and watching the Grammy’s is free. Also Pink did the same thing so no big deal they both did wonderful.
