The shoot was conducted by famed photographers Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold. The images will be featured in the French magazine L’Officiel Magazine later this month. I think the pictures look great but Ciara’s vocal ability is so limited that I find it hard to pull for her. I think fans demand quality as they mature. Ciara is cool for a young audience that is satisfied with a second-rate vocal performance. I wish that all music fans would stop supporting such artists and demand that record companies go back to making vocal ability the main factor in signing artists. Now-a-days it’s barely a requirement. There are so many unsigned artists with stronger vocal ability than artists like Ciara. Things won’t change unless we as fans stop settling for less. Then maybe we can hear more voices like we use to hear like Stephanie Mills, Deneice Williams, Gladys Knight, Natalie Cole, Angela Winbush, Regina Belle, Evelyn King, etc. Those ladies could really sing and that ‘s what mattered back then, not their image or how they looked. There’s only a handful of current artists that can compare to the singers of the past and Ciara is definitely not one.

It looks like ciara’s team is really stepping her game up, the phone deal, fashion shoots, the private performances in Kazakstan ( is that how you spell it?). Hopefully it will work out, we need more diversity and variety in music and media so the black women they refer to aren’t always Beyonce and Rihanna.
