After an almost non-stop promotional campaign for her first two studio albums, it has been confirmed that Pop phenomenon Lady GaGa‘s next LP is set to hit stores ‘late 2010’, according to the singer’s label via GaGaDaily.com {Source}
While the prospect of being served up more of GaGa’s creative brilliance does seem quite appealing, I can’t help but worry that in between the touring, videos and all that jazz, she could burnout – after all she’s only human. So in perhaps sounding somewhat hypocritical; though I’d happily lap up more GaGa material, it may be in her best interest to take a seat and chill.
Lord. Please GaGa, whatever you do – DO NOT OVEREXPOSE YOURSELF LIKE BEYONCE! Take a break – allow your fans to miss you. When you return, we’ll be here with open arms. If you’re always in our faces, we’re gonna get sick of you. And when we get sick of you, we look away. And you don’t want that, do you GaGa?
I think it’s a good move for a new artist. I certainly hope after this album she takes a break or it’ll definitely be over exposure.
I think Gaga’s Great but just OVER-RATED!!- Most of her songs are just O.k. Just Dance, Poker Face, & Telephone are nice but the rest are mostly Disposable. Its ashame that her Fasion sense out ways her talent(that Goes Twice for Rihanna). She’s nothing but a mixture of Maddona, Britney, Cristina & Timbaland all mixed into 1. & her performances arent all that either.
Yet I still wish her the best & she does show a promising Career…

This is a new age of music Madonna, Janet, Whitney, Celine, and Mariah did albums every few years and they didn’t worry because they owned the music industry years. Britney, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Gaga have to stay out because once they rest it’s all over!! I looking forward to Janet’s new album because she has a lot to prove, so I know it’s going to be a classic. I will welcome a new Beyonce record when she realizes she will be 30 next year and stop making music for teens. Gaga roll on the new album because you’re a music genius and you’re making everyone step they s*** up, so thank you very much and congratulations’ on your 5th #1…….
Can we please lay the sit back and chill argument to rest? PLEEEEASE! Madonna, Janet, Whitney, etc. were able to do albums every few years, because albums lasted in the market much longer than they do today. As with the movie business, the revenue streams have multiplied, but the window for each revenue stream has shrunk. This isn’t about the quality of the music or the quality of the talent. People consume more, faster. They can’t take a break.

The newer artists feel more pressured to STAY on top. because once you are #2, you are no longer #1 and you are treated like your yesterdays news. I’m sure the label is getting her amped to keep going however I think that gaga actually LOVES what she is doing and when you do what you love it doesn’t seem like work. No matter how hard it is. But with that said, love you gaga but make sure you take care of yourself.
She has been in heavy rotation for a lil bit now, so she deserves a break. I guarantee you when she comes back, she will tear up the Pops again. Beyonce needs to do the same.
i jst started liking her after the fame monster album, but i do agree with Sam and some people here if i put my self in her shoes (GaGa) as a human being like she is aswell i think i wud need a break, she aint no machine..she’s talent and different but still a human being, so maybe after this new later coming album she might see it appropriate 2 sit down.
and btw her new album the fame monster is packed with hits accept the last song “teeth” so i think GaGa’s still got hits this year 2 release and she shud give her self time and not release them week after week like them other 2 girls…but she might not find it easy 2 come 2 a straight decision coz the new project coming up, she can’t really release her new album a few months or weeks after releasing singles from her last album, it’s just too much!

I honestly think that anyone saying Gaga is like a mediocre version of past artists aren’t really working on the same receiving end as the rest of us. You’re far too critical of everything. Gaga had been working in the background in the industry for years until her true talent was actually discovered and promoted. She is nothing like britney or hardly anything else. For this ‘new’ generation, she is the new Madonna. There is absolutely no question about it.
Her new album ‘Fame Monster’ is built with a string of hits. From listening to the album itself, you can already tell that she did that on purpose, similar to what Beyonce may have done with her current album. She did that so she’ll always stay on the charts, the hitlists, the countdowns, and gets a never ending stream of radioplay. hell it was already confirmed that she’s currently filming content for a video, featuring Beyonce of ‘Telephone.’ I know that that is going to beyond epic, and is going to be all over the place in clubs and blasting in cars.
Then once Dance in the Dark and Monster hit the radio, it’ll be like a monolith. Those songs would appeal to so many people experiencing break ups, overcoming anxiety and reaching nirvana in finally being happy for some period of time. She’s original and will always remain that way.
Don’t complain about ‘over exposure’ because you have no idea what you’re talking about. She’s only ‘exposed’ to such a degree because the world has never seen such a universally accepted, unique, and sexually confident artist since Madonna. Both are gorgeous, talented and bisexual and run their careers to express it in whatever way possible. I think that by the end of 2010, everyone will definitely be ready for a new album from gaga because we’ll have overplayed her current and upcoming hits to such a degree as individuals, fans, consumers, and as an industry to the point where it’d be appropriate that she’d need new songs by that point.
Gaga is way ahead of her generation because she plans out everything, appreciates absolutely everything that she gets, loves her fans to death, and knows how to market herself correctly.
Before you insult her, know that she’s already taken you into consideration and has shaped her career in order to say that there’ll be nothing you can do to stop her.

I agree that it doesn’t matter who you are or how hot you are, everyone needs a break! I’m sure all of you saw what happened to britney when she tried to pull the same thing;she went crazy! I think Lady Gaga, and Beyonce need to take a break especially after you come off a big tour. If you’re an artist lookin for longevity, you need a break between albums so you can be missed. That’s why artists like maxwell and erykah badu can drop albums every 2-3 years and still be number 1 and sell out concerts.
She is ok, but she needs to sit down for a while… to release an album every 6 months its just stupid.

I’m pretty sure if Mama Monster wanted a break, she’d take it. She’s probably boiling over with creative energy and needs to get it all down. She’s worked her ass off to get to where she is today, so why stop now? Besides, I will grabbyhands at anything she puts out. She’s the biggest pop talent to come forward in our generation, we need to hold onto her while we still can!
Firstly, let’s stop the comparisons of Gaga to Beyonce. Sure they did Telephone together but that was all Gaga and Beyonce just tagged along as a gimmic. How many singles has Beyonce had in her 8-year career? 19? Respectable. How many singles has Gaga produced in her 2 years? 8? Phenomenal.
