Following the cancellation of a date this week on her ‘Monster Ball’ tour due to ‘exhaustion’, Lady GaGa has pulled out of more gigs citing the same reason. Check out the report via our good friends over at GaGa Daily:
Due to exhaustion and dehydration, Lady Gaga collapsed and passed out before her show last night in West Lafayette, IN. Her physician has advised her to take a few days off to rest. As a result – the following shows are cancelled:
January 16 – Borgata Casino, Atlantic City
January 17 – Oakdale Theatre, Wallingford CTThe January 18 performance at Mohegan Sun Arena is postponed. A new rescheduled date is to be announced. Tickets for the January 18 Mohegan Sun date will be honored at the rescheduled date. Refunds can be made at point of purchase.
Ticket holders for the cancelled shows will have first access to tickets for the new date(s) to be scheduled. Those dates will be announced in the near future.
As awesome as it feels to watch and see the development of one of music’s future greats, the intensity of GaGa’s schedule is worryingly scary. For real, in between the video shoots, album recording, promotional spots and now touring the world, it literally seems like she’s been going full-on for the last year and a half – which makes eventual burn-out much more likely. Here’s wishing her a speedy recovery, though.

AGREED! I was one of the fans that bought tixx to the Atlantic City show, the only one to not get rescheduled. To say that I’m terribly upset would an understatement. She could have at least acknowledged it on oprah. The IL show cancellation resulted in twitter-diarrhea of apologetic, seemingly sincere statements.
The Atlantic city show on the other hand… a tacky ill-formed statement was posted all over the venue stating:
“Reportedly to exhaustion and dehydration, Lady Gaga collapsed and passed out before her show last night in West Lafayette, Indiana, and her physician advised her to take a few days off to rest.
As a result, three shows have been cancelled, including the Borgata performance on Saturday night, Jan. 16, in Atlantic City.
Tickets for this performance will be refunded. If ticket holders have additional questions, please call 866-900-4TIX.”
That sucks for us. She could have at the very least made an effort to apologize with something a little more personal.

1. Okay doing one medley on Oprah is completely different from doing a 2 hour concert.
2. Exhaustion is not just being “tired.” I swear, some of the people on here are either kids or talking out of their assholes. Seriously, I suffer from chronic dehydration due to a surgery I had a while back, and I understand exhaustion. She passed out. She didn’t say “Oh, I don’t feel like it.” I mean, what are you thinking?
3. I have talked to a lot of fans who have been agreeing for a while now that GaGa just didn’t look healthy. So this is not a new thing and any fan should not be surprised. The only people who would be giving her shit is obviously the people who dislike her in the first place. A fan would care about her well-being. Hey, GaGa didn’t even COME to my state and I’m not hatin on her for not scheduling it.
I’m not a fanatic, but have some empathy, folks. And I can bet if Miss Cassie or Beyonce had these problems you would be crying your eyes out. Album sales, how great Cassie is, whatever you want to say, that doesn’t matter. A person is sick and she can’t physically work. Next time you got the flu let’s see you work your prior commitments.
