Mo’Nique just won her 1st Golden Globe Award this evening for ‘Best Performance by an Actress In A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture’ for her role in ‘Precious’. The actress delivered a powerful acceptance speech where she gave thanks to her cast mates and director Lee Daniels. Check out her acceptance speech below:

This is the best news I have heard all day, I was lucky enuff to see this masterpiece of a movie at The london Film Festival and Mo Nique’s performance was more than worthy of an Oscar, everybody who syarred in that movie did an amazing job, well done to her, I hope this is the beginning of some great film roles for an extremly talented and lovely women

Mo’Nique always steals the scene. I believe The Parkers was a spin-off was for ‘Nique’sdaughter, who played on Moesha. However, when Mo’Nique hit the scene, she immediately became the star of the show. You call that the “It” factor.
Did you guys see how Sommore tried to upstage Mo’Nique on her own show? Sommore probably was the key person in putting together the Queens of Comedy tour, but it is Mo’Nique who stole the show.
And I love how Mo’Nique is trying to keep focused on who she is as a person, and not solely an Academy Award Winner.
So, Jennfer and Mo’Nique will have won an Oscar before Bey…hmmmm.
