Despite being the target of accusations by her former backup singers band members, a new track as emerged from Nicole Scherzinger. The Akon-assited song is entitled ‘By My Side’. There is no word on whether this will be included on her upcoming solo project, ‘Her Name Is Nicole’, which is set to hit stores this year.
Backed by such solid production and thumping beats, one would assume that Nicole has a hit on her hands. However, the hook is almost inaudible and very difficult to understand. Furthermore, her voice in the chorus sounds like she was trying very hard to imitate Leona Lewis. Add that to Akon’s surprisingly lazy and uninspired verse, and I can easily see why her solo album is yet to hit stores. Next.

She is talented, she’s an amazing singer and dancer. The problem lies with her stealing the spotlight and lording it over the other Dolls. I like this song but she needs to boot Akon off of her song, I hate his voice!

yea Nicole isnt my girl like that anymore…most people aint know but before the Pussycat Dolls she was on a show called Popstars and it was the search to form the next “big” girl group and although they flopped, she was the BOMB diggity in Edens Crush…NOW its like what happend? You dont share the spotlight, you are now carrying a “diva” attitude reportedly from a million gossip sites, and u suck singing live by yaself! if yall dont believe me look up her performances of “Whatever Ya Like” and “Baby Love” HORRIBLE! actually i quite like this song…. its half descent. and makes me wonder why was it never released? this is defo first single material…
Schzngr’s album might have been half descent… just imagine “By My Side” as the first single, “Just Say Yes” as the second, “I’m a Cheat” as the third, “Power’s Out feat. Sting” as the fourth, “Save Me From Myself” as the last with “Happily Never After” serving as its b-side.
even heidi montag has her album coming out b4 schrzngr even though her songs flopped harder…
rather than leaking this should have been given to leona lewis to rework and feature someone like Maxwell or Trey Songz for her album ‘Echo’

LOL poor girl has holds the record for the Longest Album Push-back in history! previously held by Keri Hilson but hers saw a release date last year.
“Her name is Nicole” was suppose to be released 3 years ago. I think Nicole should realize that she NEEDS the girls to get fame. even more than they need her.

Regardless of what others might think, I think Nicole is the best singer in the group. I just can’t get behind Melody yet until I hear a good single, and one where we doesn’t sound like Christina Aguilera so much. Until that point, Nicole is my girl. Fuck the group, she really doesn’t need them.

people get mad when artist in a group want to go solo
we are not the one’s who have to share our cut of the money, we are not the ones who have to deal with all of those different personalities, so who are we to judge
we wont know the whole truth, its sad when groups have to break up b/c of so many clashes and im sure all these rumors & gossips dont help the situation
people like pink, beyonce, kelly rowland were all in a group and they all stuck out and went and did their thing, you cant live in some group or someone else’s shadow for the rest of your life, sometimes you think that this is the worst thing that can happen to you until you go out there on your own, maybe that’s what all parties involved need in order to grow individually
