Wow! I really enjoyed the cinematic /narrative-driven clip. Directed by Benny Boom, the video is perhaps Monica’s best to date; Ms. Arnold looks stunning and the storyline has a great twist at the end. It’s always refreshing when at artist hits you with a concept you wouldn’t have expected. Great video!

Um this video was NOT inspired by the movie Obsessed. The only reason you may think so is b/c Obsessed was a rip-off of the classic film Fatal Attraction. Which is what Monica stated was the REAL inspiration for the video. Wow, some people are so ignorant.

SMDH at some of the comments. I guess some ppl are on edge because Monica is back in full force. The video was inspired from the movie FATAL ATTRACTIONS, one of Monica’s favorite movies with one of her favorite actors. The video wrked well with the song and I will hve to say this is one of her best videos to date. Its a shame how so many ppl hate and I know who they are because they’re artist didnt hve so much hype when she came out lol. But Im definetly ready for this era to take off and glad Monica is not half stepping.

That is her focus… Now if the song crosses over, then good, but I doubt that is the focus. NOT every R&b artist releases songs that are meant to cross over. So, my point stands… This song is a HIT.

Well Monica actually did say in an interview that her video theme is based from the movie OBSESSED with her designs by Alexander McQueen.
The great thing about this song is the fact that it’s real soul/r&b music in it purest form.
People have become too comfortable with songs where the beat dominates the singer rather than vice-versa & these so called pop commercial tracks which work for some but not someone in a Monica mold.
What makes this a commercially friendly track is that there is room for a big soul record to joint the charts and it’s different from the general tracks out at the moment.
I liked the video. (Not so much her hair) Monica has a nice voice.

I personally wasnt that Impressed by this video, I thought it was O.K, I was expecting better, The acting really wasnt special & It was a bad Attempt to re create Obsessed. It left much to be desired. The song is just OK for me as expected, its typical R&B. But I hope Monica doesnt think this will open up any Acting Doors…
