Ke$ha hit the stage on the ‘American Idol’ results show with the 3Oh!3 last evening. The Pop sensation performed the second single from her ‘Animal’ LP, ‘Blah Blah Blah’. To date, the track has peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out the performance below:
I know that I’m not the only person who has noticed that all of Ke$ha’s performances follow the exact same format: auto-tuned mics, stumbling across the stage, glitter on her face, stiff choreography and big hair/headpieces. Ke$ha is yet to leave a serious impression on me with any of her live showings and I grow increasingly bored every time she hits the stage. Is she sure she was influenced by Madonna and David Bowie? Maybe the only impact the had on her relates to their fashion sense because neither of them have ever been so redundant and uninspired.

It was quite good for her I thought.
But then again, I have known of Kesha for a long time now, back in 2007 when I came across her on myspace music. She used to post accapella’s of her singing without music. Therefore I know she can sing, even if she isn’t exactly showing it.
But for the most part of these comments, it’s just popular music lovers, who first heard of her last year…

SHAYLA that is the 1st thing I thought! Except her TV’s got up and danced ?! I’m just confused why she was signed as a singer, maybe she will show her ability later but for now she kinda turns my stomach because there is no discernable talent being show right now. Actually it pisses me off. But whatever! I try to not listen to the radio that much because of artists like this. I know she “writes” music but what is she even saying!
Her performance made me appreciate the American Idol kids a bit more.

You can’t really say anyone could sing that song very well. It’s not a singing type song, neither was TiK ToK, I’m a fan of Ke$ha & even I didn’t think she could sing, but I found a video on youtube of her singing acoustics wayyy back in 2006 or something & I was really surprised
Since her whole image/album is about getting drunk & partying & not having a care in the world, I think she did a bang up job. Hopefully she’ll prove everyone wrong, like Lady Gaga did, when Just Dance & Poker Face came out everyone said the same about her, how she couldn’t sing & how she was so auto-tuned & blah blah blah.
Give her a break shes only released 2 songs & everyone is condeming her, like, she needs to be sent to hell or somethin, besides, like anyone could sing Blah Blah Blah perfectly.
