In the midst of calls for her to slow down her hectic schedule, Lady GaGa has today officially announced the US leg of her ‘Monsters Ball’ tour. Set to kick off this June, the 23 year old will play Stateside arenas, including New York’s famed Madison Squared Garden, right through to the end of September. No rest for GaGa, I guess. Granted it’s definitely a good look for her US ‘monsters’, I can’t help but feel that a substantial period of rest is needed. That said, if she’s raring to go and running her show (which insiders say she is), then who’s to argue otherwise.
Randomness: I guess her touring for the majority of the year will see her avoid over-exposure by being everywhere at once.

I kinda see a double standard. I can think of other super-popular workaholic artists who went on yearlong tours to sold out arenas & were accused of oversaturating their market & told to Please Sit Down.
I gotta give Gaga the same reaction I gave the others- if you are happy working, and your fans are happy to see you, keep on truckin’. as long as she gets adequate sleep, eats her Wheaties (or Miracle Whip & Wonder Bread sandwiches), she’ll be fine. Sometimes when the inspiration or motivation hits you, you gotta run with something while the getting is good.

Jesus Christ, Mommy-Monster. Guess you won’t be resting until October, amirite? Oh right, and she ALSO needs to pencil in filming the video for her next single “Alejandro” which is already in pre-production, since they’re hiring actors for it already. Telephone was filmed in Feb and wasn’t released until Mid March. Bad Romance premiered in November, I believe. Meaning that Alejandro will be in actual production and will be scheduled to release ‘preview teaser pics’ in June and will be released around the same time she kicks off her American Tour in early or Mid July.
It makes sense, actually.
But after she’s done with all of her touring, absolutely no one should be complaining about not seeing ‘enough’ of her or her being ‘over rated’ which as much as she’s doing, which is pretty insane as it is.
Gaga, you know what you’re doing.
Just make sure to stay healthy, and you’ll pull through fine.

^That’s because she doesn’t want bible-lovers bashing her at her concerts.
She only hits the more liberal cities on purpose. Churches hate her, and she’s trying to avoid stirring un necessary controversy by just not performing in them. That’s my theory anyway basing on some shit that happened not too long ago.
Also, she performed in Florida last time.
There’s a whole strategy behind which states she performs in. Those states are cash cows because of a wide margin of support that spurts out of them. Not only that, but fans in nearby states or at least in a close region WILL travel into a new state/region to see her. It’s her way of selling out areans in the quickest amount of time.
Think about it….
Do you REALLY think that she needs to extend this tour right now?
If you want to see her, save up your money and buy your tickets at the pre-sale dates then make sure that you have enough gas money, a ride and whatever else it takes to make sure that you GET into those cities where she’s performing. Do you see that there’s barely any BREAK periods between these dates, once again?
I actually think that she should cut the tour in half because she’s already exhausted as it is. But of course…Mama-Monster loves her fans too much.
