I actually rather enjoyed Ms. Fenty’s performance. Yes, her vocals (as always) were compromised so as for her to actually move around on stage. Yet it’s hard to deny that her swagger was in full-effect (however unjustified it is) and the stage set-up (cheeky robots inclusive) was a nice touch too. Not bad…

Um, I’ve tried to watch her performances, hoping and praying (I’m being VERY sarcastic when I say that) that she will wow me, but she’s freaking BORING and she CANNOT sing! It’s sad that the Grammy’s awarded her for ANYTHING because she has NO talent! Point blank. JMHO.

I think the performance was pretty bad. The audience seemed really bored. He dancing was not too good (stiff), her singing was pitchy and off-key and there was absolutely no wow-factor. Snooze-fest, especially compared to the cuter one she did on Ellen.
And yes, that band is crazy! Love it! Who thinks her background singers looked dope? I do!!

Well just when I thought she was getting better vocally live……Smh. Vocally this was horrific.
However, she has definitely improved on her stage presence and her dancing doesn’t look so stiff either. That was actually a good performance from Rihanna aside from the nasty vocals. The Robots were a bit off to me and her outfit was kinda cute but it looks just like the one she wore at the Pepsi Smash just one of the leg sleeves are cut-off. But whatevs.
I love this song and I love it even better with a live band! Live bands bring a different swag to a song and I appreciate that! Live bands are Awesome!

She really on da grind with this “Rude Boy” ain’t she? Gotta make that last single count I guess, since the first 2 didn’t, and “Hard” barely hung in there, even though it is one of the few I like. Anyway, the performance was ok, concept was humorous and YES, she does have a rather large, yet kick ass band. Damn, Def Jam is breakin’ da bank for this girl. Her best live renditions of this song was on aolSessions and Ellen.

Damn HATERS (lmao)…at one point, I thought it was just being critical, but now it hilarious how hateful folks are towards Rihanna. **Please let it be known that I am not part of the Rihanna-fan club, and definitely have no intentions on enlisting**; however, I can’t deny the fact that she is reasonably good at what’s she does. “She sucks”, “her vocals are horrible” – and so is about 90% of her contemporaries!!! Music quality has been dumbed-down some much that the likes of Ms. Knowles is considered vocal-royalty, when the truth is that you can find a number of people on the streets who can outsing many of the tops acts. Don’t get me wrong, B. is a bad sister, and on the stage, she’s the best around; but there are few artists today that amaze me. You want vocal talent, look at Anita Baker, Minnie Riperton, Luther Vandross, Phyllis Hyman, Whitney Houston (in her prime), Mariah Carey (in her prime), etc. You want vocal talent visit (as I said before) Julliard, Berkelee – don’t look at the top 10 Billboard albums.
And stop hating, I guarantee you will feel much better in the morning
(blood pressure will regulate, and who knows – your luck might improve…I’m talking sh_t, but being kinda honest too)
