UK Pop phenomenons JLS continue to garner endorsement after endorsement from music’s biggest stars ahead of their attempt to crack the US market next month – the latest being Rihanna. In a recent interview with The Sun, the Bajan beauty not only revealed that she’s set to work with the group, but also shared her pearls of artistic wisdom in assessing the boy’s chance of worldwide success:
“Working with JLS is something that will happen this year. Jay will make stars out of them. He has been a great mentor to me. He has been around long enough to spot real talent and he knows who will become worldwide stars. They can sing, they can dance, they look good, actually they look very good. But more importantly they look like a group. It doesn’t look like they have been put together. It looks like they are meant to be together.”

Black UK and US music needs to go back to what it once was.Singers who could actually sing, groups that could play musical instruments and artists that could perform live.

And also Jay Z doesn’t know how to spot talent, he had her playing 2nd fiddle to Tierra Marie when they both first dropped. He only believed in Rihanna once Tierra Marie fell off and quite frankly it’s not like he wrote umbrella or any of the songs on GGGB, so he didn’t really create her. He barely wanted to sign Kanye West, he had to be convinced. Jay Z is a leach that feeds of others talent and success to stay relevant ( obviously not a Jay Z fan)!

Also I think Jay Z feels as if he owns Rihanna. He made a comment on a radio station in Vegas that Run This Town was actually Rihanna’s song ( already recorded) and he heard it and told Kanye that they needed to be on the track. Not only was he on the track, he made her sing the damn chorus and put the song on his album. The song did really well ( Can’t remember if it went number 1 or not). The idea that he STOLE her song pisses me off.
