A new song from Monica has surfaced. ‘Mirror’ was produced by Jim Jonsin and will be featured on her upcoming album, ‘Still Standing’. Monica’s new LP hits stores on March 23rd. Check out the song below:
It looks like Monica isn’t playing any games with this album. Vocally, lyrically and musically, the track reflects some of the best elements of contemporary R&B. This certainly has the potential to be a single and should excel on both the Hip-Hop/R&B chart and the Billboard Hot 100. Great stuff!

Im digging this song. Monica, did this one good. Yea, the album does have an old-school feel but maybe thats what the industry is missing. I hope Monica does well in sells on this album. Although I dont want to focus on that, record labels do. Goodluck Mo, wish you tons of success.

This is one of the greatest tracks I’ve heard in a long time. The one thing that I appreciate about a vocalist (singer) like Monica is she sings her songs with such conviction. There is no false pretense with her, and the lyrics are so real. I love Monica, and I love this song! She is on her way to kill the game…..btw “Still Standing” in stores March 23, 2010. Be sure to keep voting on BET for her video, and requesting “Everything to Me” on your stations.

Wow…Vocally & lyrically profound! I see Monica is going for that international hit. But, she included all the important elements VOCALS! Damn. This is very different type of song from Monica.
Sidenote….can we please not include comments about artist that have nothing to do w/ Monica. Mariah, Brandy, Beyonce…all are talented. No need to compare anyone. Appreciate real music & support them. Because radio is playing garbage

I agree with Mellymel the song is different for Monica & her vocals stay fresh not generic. She is still standing tall & proves with everything to me her urban audience is still backing her up. Now this is that out the box shit right here because we all go through phrases in life and unless we look at ourselves we lose the person we once were all for the sake of materialism. She is so positive and determined this go round & if we all support and stop comparing artist vs. ego alot of our real sangers wouldnt be replaced for alot of these bullshit & im glad Monica is still doing her thang cop the album March 23rd baby

Song is hot. She is SINGING. She said she wanted to SING and showcase her vocals on this album and she is.
Currently “Everything to Me” which people constantly complained about and said wasn’t single worthy, and would flop…. Well its #3 on the R&B charts this week on BILLBOARD… So, did it flop? HELL NO.. its a Proven HIT!!!!!!!!!!
Her album isn’t even out yet and here are the sales rankings from Amazon, and this is only off of pre-orders. (wait until the album actually comes out)
