So Sam, please don’t be the typical interviewer who asks Kelly the same irritating questions over and over again. You’re usually very good about not doing that.
Now, here are my questions:
1. There’s alot of internet buzz surrounding your new single “Commander” as well as your up-coming album. However, the internet is just one of many media outlets. How will your team insure that your album is properly promoted? Meaning, how will people who don’t blog or surf the net know that your album is coming out?
2. You recently did a cover shoot with Cosmopolitan in South Africa. I’m sure that was an amazing experience; but there are so many African-Americans in the U.S. who would love to see you on the covers of high profile magazines(Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Essence, Ebony). You’ve never had a cover shoot with any of these magazines stateside. Will you and your team actively persue those types of covers this time around?
3. It’s rumored that The Fashion Show has been picked up for a second season. Will you be returning as a co-host along side Isaac Mizrahi?
4. In the studio your vocals are astounding, but there are those who would say that your live showings are a little less consistent(issues with sound, bad backing tracks, easily winded even though you don’t really do choreography, lack of vocal control). How are you insuring that your performances for this new project are going to be spot on? Have you ever considered pre-recording some of your up-tempos so that you can dance more? Or finding good background singers to add more dimension to your own vocals?
5. You excell vocally in the ballad department (Bad Habit,STILWMX, Love Again, Unity, etc.), but you’ve never released a power ballad as a single.Will you be releasing a ballad from this album so that the world can finally hear your vocal prowess.
6. Will there be real tour to go along with promoting this album and if so, can your supporters expect a tour DVD? Beyonce’s had three(Live in Wembly, The Beyonce Experience and I am…Yours) can we at least get one from you?
7. Your supporters have been asking for a videography since your Ms.Kelly era. Any chance we’ll get one of those this go-round?
8. You’ve already released a single for your as yet untitled album that will not be released until September. That’s FOUR MONTHS and there have been a number of leaks in some form or fashion; from demos to 40 sec clips to full song leaks. Are you at all worried that all of this space between singles and the album release will increase the chances of your album becoming available for illegal downloads or that it will simply lose it’s steam and by September people will have lost interest? What is your team doing to insure neither will happen?

I wanted to tell how I have always loved it when it you do a collaboration with other artist. From Avant’s Seperate to now. Love, love, loved the one you did with Tiziano Ferro “Breathe Gentle”, you sing Italian beautifully. But I wanted to know what are the odds of you and Brandy ever doing a song together? I have been a huge fan of hers as well since she was 14 and I love both of your voices. Being that you two are friends, I would love to hear you both on a hot track. Also if you decide to do a deluxe version of your new album, would consider putting “Still in Love With my Ex and Flashback” as bonus tracks? Maybe even do a video for them.
