Lady GaGa set the ‘American Idol’ stage on fire last evening. The Pop superstar performed her new single, ‘Alejandro’, which was introduced by an acoustic version of her mega hit ‘Bad Romance’. ‘Alejandro’ has thus far peaked at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100. Check out GaGa’s performance below:

i Love Gaga but theres somethin bout this performance thats was just BORIN….
She did a too much..playin piano,voguing,dancing and all dat…but it was ALOT of nothin
EeeYeah…..that was weird…not the usual Le Ga weird just Odd. LAG’s orgrapghy was all over the place, it’s usually done to distract from the fact that Le Ga is not the strongest lyrical Jazz dancer but this just seemed….Messy.
I’m sure the Gaga monsters will see it as contemopary and artistic. Sometimes it cool to admit that Le Ga can (occasionally) get it all wrong.
it was ok, I guess. She looked GaGa.
And UK people ,go out and vote. Who’s going to runs our country is more important than what your favourites are up to.
I’m not a fan, but that won’t influence what I think about Gaga’a performance. I thought it was a little boring. I didn’t like that black hooded thing she wore and when she removed it and step down the stair onto the floor that was the only part I was half way into. The chereography was okay at the end. I just see her as hype(everytime I try to get into her talent). I’d love to see her when she comes out with album 3(not including the Fame monster). I want to see how long can you run with this act.

I love Gaga, but this performance was awful, disaster.
Vocally it was a catastrophe.
The show… if there were not that expensive extravagnza things, the performance would be one of the worst all time.
So I think Gaga should stop and go for new inspiration. This cosutmes were interesting in the past, when Gaga was new, but now we cannot see and hear the real Gaga. Without those costumes other people do for her, she wouldnot be anything.
ANd she also should do something with her vocie. It’s okay that they correct it and put autotune on the CD-s, but she should improve it to perform LIVE, because this was awful….

Now I know why I lost interest in this women. This performance was not good at all.
Its sad, because I use to love Gaga. But after “LoveGame” she just became to stupid for me. I mean if its not the “outfits” or the over the top stuff on stage, its something else. I’m really starting to believe the things my mother said about her. Her career was built on being a character. She also said, if she walked into someones office singing the way she does back in the day, she would have gotten laughed out the office. What a shame…

I think one has to blame American Idol for this. Obviously, they kept the camera super-tight on her because of homosexual content of the dancing, the bleeding angel statue. The sound mix was a disaster.. I’ve noticed this with many performances. The music is super low and vocals too loud. It makes the whole thing seem boring.
Also, it was pre-taped… and they obviously cut it down and blurred her n******, etc. it was a very strange chop job. If I were Lady Gaga, I’d be furious. but that’s what you get when you work w/ FOX and a show that’s free-falling in the ratings.
I guess I’m not really feeling the song. It sounds very familiar to songs I’ve heard before. And this performance was meh… just meh.

Good analogy SHOU cause Alicia Keys is whack as hell also. Both are hyped up artist that don’t belong in the same sentence as Beyonce or Christina Aguilera let lone any of the greats from the past.

That performance sucked hard, just like her Grammy performance. This woman has no vocal talent and she has WAY to much going on, on the stage to cover it up. Also, this song sounds like any Madonna song circa 1990.

The performance was dry, however, it is ridiculous to assume that “she is over” because she had a bad performance. The best of the best have some not so good performances but that doesn’t take away from their artistry. Hell, people who have NEVER had good performances are still here. So it isn’t fair to think that a bad performance equals the end of someone’s career. Maybe lack of appeal, decreasing sales, and whack music would determine that.

S.B. When i turned to American Idol i swore up & down that was Shakira…then when Lady NA NA! Took that hooded table place mat off her face i gagged! Plus this song sounds very Shakira without the Sheep sounding voice.
Ok this was clearly not one of her better performances. Probably the worst she’s done so far. It was waaaaaaaay too long. And i’m not so sure about the song. It’s an ACE OF BASE rip off. Plus she was clearly trying to go for the Madonna “La Isla Bonita.” But it just didn’t work. Plus there was an issue with the sound. The music was waaaay too low. By no means do I think her career is over by this one performance but it does show that she can be dethroned.

Lady GaGa is alway trying to out do the last performance and the pressure of always trying to shock and be different is slowly catching up on her. This performance was missing something and came accross FLAT. poor single choice Dance In The Dark would have been more successful.

She seemed a little board with the song throughout. Choreography was a bellylaugh. This is actually a great song, but for the first time I can actually say, I was not impressed with her performance. But even good performers have their bad ones.
