Rihanna was one of the featured performers at Radio One Big Weekend recently. Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend performed collection of her biggest hits including ‘Russian Roulette’, ‘Rude Boy’, ‘Hard’ and others. Peep the performances below:

‘Rude Boy’ & ‘Te Amo’
The typical Rihanna ‘walk around stage, pose and rub my crotch’ affair, the performances were cut and pasted directly from her tour. However, it was interesting to see Rihanna try her hand at choreography during the ‘Rude Boy’ rendition and actually doing a good job in the process. Furthermore, her vocals in ‘Russian Roulette’ were very good (minus the flat notes near the end) as seems to be the case whenever she performs that song live. Other than those brief shining moments, there was nothing notable about the show. Luckily Rihanna was surrounded by dancers, musicians and backup singers (i.e. people with actual talent) to keep us distracted from what she doing with her fingers and trying to do with her voice.

I love her voice. Its Unique and you can hear the different auctives when she sings. frankly Im tired of all the female vocalist that can SSSSSAAAAAAAAGGGGGG, hollering in their best gospel C-notes, sweat routines, with no flavor or originality. They all sound the same.
I dont think the audience came to see her band or backgound singers/dancers. They invited and paid Rihanna. However they all work great together and believe in their Artist Ms. Rihanna Wonderful Show. Live vocals & all no lipsynching here.

I actually liked the Rude Boy’ & ‘Te Amo performance, RARE. Id give that 3.5 stars, an upgrade from the usual 2. Vocally she wasnt half bad either, also RARE. She looked great also, she still needs work on her Stage presence though…

I’m not much of a fan of rihanna but after watching the performance of rude boy (the only one of thee songs I was interested in hearing) I was actually impressed. The stage presence that is usually lacking from her performances was definitely there. And I loved the fact that she bothered to incorporate some choreography. I actually loved it.

Russian Roulette was good in the beginning but child, at the end of that song, GOOD LORD! She was soooo off key!
I love the song “Don’t stop the music” but she didn’t do it any justice with this performance. You couldn’t even hear her voice during the verses. And the foolish stans always talking about how her voice is strong. Smh. Yeah right!
“Hard” was okay, but that may be because I really like that song.
“Disturbia” was whack.
“Rude Boy” was my fave because she actually danced and danced well!
“Te Amo” kinda boring. Still like the song though.
Overall, you could put any female with a great body and face on that stage to perform these songs and it would be just as entertaining. She has absolutely no stage presence. I was more focused on the dancers, lights, props, background singers, and that awesome band.

rihanna is amazing i saw her on tour and she was absolutely brilliant
