The 2010 FIFA World Cup Kick-Off Celebration was held yesterday to launch the most viewed sporting even on Earth. The show, which was held in Soweto, South Africa, featured performances from the Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, Alicia Keys, John Legend and K’naan. Check out the performances below:

It was sooo beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. I am goin’ to dakar (senegal) for the summer and I’ll be watching even though senegal won’t participate. But I’m sooo happy ! Go Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Algeria, South Africa and Cameroun !!!
