R&B star Ciara has confirmed the release date of her new LP ‘Basic Instinct’.

Writing on her official Twitter page, the 24 year old announced that the album, her fourth, will be hitting stores on August 24th.
‘Basic Instinct’ is proceeded by lead single ‘Ride’, and will hit stores via JIVE.

I’m so excited for Ciara. Ride has the 2cd biggest bullet on Urban Radio over songs like “Find Your Love”,”OMG”,”Your Love”,”Unthinkable”…I’m really glad Ride has been able to be so successful on her core formats especially considering she doesn’t have the Urban AC people, so her r&B position is really good. I think Ride was a smart 1st single, and as long as the 2cd single is released sometime in July she will do well. She also said that her website relaunches in July…it’s the OnlyCiara one
