Girl I think what other people are saying has some truth to it. Look at the kind of posts this very site writes about Rihanna when she’s wearing a bikini. Youre wrong on that one sweetie. In the most recent interview when they asked Gaga where she “came up” with her gimmick she claimed that she was “always lady gaga” even if she never showed it before. I never doubted that the girl has talent, but when you try so excessively hard to cover up your talent with costumes and gimmicks, people have a right to question your position in the industry, as is the case with Lady Gaga. When the girl first hit the scene i LOVED HER. But now she carries a Madonna 101 handbook in her pocket at all times and it’s kind of annoying. It’s especially annoying when her dim wit stans credit Lady Garbage with things that she has merely xeroxed from every other artist. When Xtina came out with that video all of her stans shit themselves with hatred and accused her of copying but I i did not see as many comparisons in her Alejandro video which CLEARLYYYYYYY was stolen from Madonna.

Back to the issue of her allergy to clothing………You can’t say that everyone is treated the same on that issue honey because you know everyone gets up in arms when someone is risque but Lady Gag Me seems to have thrown rose colored glasses on her fans.

yes, madonna’s like a prayer dealed with religon just like lady gaga’s alejandro, but madonna focused on interracial dating, and relationships coinsiding with religon, while lady gaga focused on homosexuals and how sexuality coincides with religon.

Hell, even Liz Renay “streaked” Times Square back in the 70s, beating Gaga to going naked in a public place to get her pic taken. The problem is Gaga gets all this credit for having a new and creative style when it’s completely untrue. She is just redoing Madonna’s image and ideas from the 80′s from the Like A Prayer religious concepts, to the crazy bra-wear, to the La Isla Bonita–Alejandro remake, to the lesbian and gay exploration, etc. Madonna did it all first. Everyone takes a little bit here and there from past inspirations and influences but this is just too much.

Although I am a little monster, I have to agree with some of the comments. I’m not really that keen on the cover – but I think ppl let her get away with it because she’s not considered conventionally attractive – if she looked like Rih or B, ppl would have more to say.

And, as someone said above, our generation isn’t the Madonna generation, so whatever she may have ‘stolen’ from Madonna is relatively new to those unfamiliar with the Queen of Pop’s work. A #1 song isn’t worth it in my opinion, especially in today’s crappy music market. I would like her so much better if she didn’t dress so crazy and try to call it art.
