In the latest promotional push for Christina Aguilera‘s ‘Bionic’ LP, VH1 Storytellers aired their much hyped episode centred on the singer. The intimate set featured live performances from the 29 year old, as well as previously unheard stories surrounding many of the tracks performed (both old and new). Damn, if I could buy a milion copies of her new album I would, that girl is a raw talent and a hard worker, I don’t get the low sales, though I really want her to tour for Bionic cause to me it’s her best since Stripped, it’s solid material, I wish her the best for this record, hoping that it’s going to sale more. Btw those perf’ were pure hotness.
lovely performances by her. i watched the behind the music special that preceded ‘storytellers’ and both were wicked programmes. the girl’s got talent.
her bionic album’s really good as well; however, i wish she would have cut out some of the tracks and did one solid album instead of both a standard and deluxe. it’s a bit excessive. solid effort tho– i just had to upload to itunes and customise my own tracklist.

Xtina is one of the few talented artist left in the industry to come along since 2000(besides Bey, Alicia and Chris Brown). I think the reason for low first week sales has to do with radio programming and promotion. Gaga is in heavy rotation and anyone that poses a threat gets lets radio play and attention. This is very true, she’s clearly a favorite that is being forcefully push down our throats. I have no problem with her fans being monsters and loving everything she does, but those outlets do not allow room for other artist that pose a threat. The growing trend now is to play these artist older material, so you’ll hear Xtina’s Genie in a bottle and Britney’s Gimme more. I’ve spoken to radio dj’s and even when you request Janet and Madonna your told that they can’t compete with Gaga(who is brought up in alot of discussions concerning this matter). You’ll be surprised. This is an era where the want for only 1 artist to dominate the airwaves. I do believe that things will change and that Gaga could possibly end up suffering from over exposure eventually, but this is currently where things stand. I’m no Xtina stan, but her new albums shits all over Gaga’s 1.5 and she is not getting attention outside of her performances that are being received very well.

just came home from buying the deluxe edition of bionic – i love the album!!! she is the queen of ballads, her slow jams are so emotional and so authentic, i don’t get why the album doesn’t sell well. i feel this album more than back 2 basics, it’s my favourite album after stripped.
christina is one of the most talented people out there and it’s a pity that she doesn’t get the recognition she deserves!!! i hope there will be a tour for bionic, i really want to see her live.

I still remember back 22 or 23 years ago, from local tv program, this little Pittsburgh girl’s soulful voice amazed me. She’s been a star already then back that time.
It is just how wonderful to see this talented, hard-working, beautiful young lady become a super star.

That’s what i’m talking about! Nomatter what anybody says Christina can SING and none of the immitators or swaggerjackers can do that like she does. The performances of “I’m ok” & “You lost me” blew me away in a different way that the others although they were amazing.
The interviews were a lot better than what she usually does too, it’s like she opened up more and we actually got a chance to see what was going on inside her head. When she was talking about the domestic violence she & her mother suffered i really felt for her and it helps me to better understand why she is so driven & ambitious.
A lot of people might call her cold or a b**** but she’s like that because of what she’s been through, she’s making a better life for herself and she isn’t gonna let anybody f*** that up for her.
{BIONIC} is an amazing album, don’t listen to the b****** like Perez who are just so stuck up Gaga’s swagger jacking ass that they can’t appreciate an original tallent that can’t be duplicated. Also i notice that all the blogs that are happy to go around calling her “floptina” arn’t mentioning how well the album is doing worldwide, it’s just gone straight to No1 in the UK album chart and is selling well everywhare else too so… 😛

I did wach vh1 storytellers ! Xtina was amazing as usual something that I notice was how she interacted with the fans , I’m totally enjoys the show !
