A fresh faced Britney Spears covers the August issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.

It’s great to see Ms. Spears looking legitimately upbeat these days, as opposed to that glazed-over (here, but not really here) aura she has exuded in recent years (even after her premature ‘comeback’).
One can only hope she now rediscovers the performing ‘spark’ she once had, which has unfortunately been lacking for a while now.

Cosmo didn’t have to do this to Brit. Apparently they used two different shots from the shoot – took the body from one, the head from another. So her body actually did look like this. Why would Cosmo use two different shots?
And you wonder what I’m talking about when I rant about epic displays of stupidity. This is one of them.
Anyway, so glad Brit has lately been looking really happy. And, as a longtime Brit stan (since 99), I’m really hoping that the rumours that she is to perform at the T*** Choice Awards are true.
