  kim looks hot, and she can really dance i mean she straight show cased her dancing skills on dancing with the stars. and she looked really great on all of the dwts her along with all of the dancers wore beautiful clothes on the show.

  Can someone please tell me what artist did Lil Kim bring on stage that wasn’t a star before that moment? I ask because Kim keeps stating that she is not getting respect for people that she put down. I was already into Salt ‘N Pepper, Da Brat, Missy Elliott, Foxy Brown, Lisa LeftEye Lopes before Kim brought them on stage with her.

  I’m confused.

  She can lay to rest the whole “Nicki” stole my swagger routine, because when any artist comes out, their style is pretty similar to the artist they love: Luther/Sam Cooke, Trey Songz/D’Angelo Untitled Album Cover Photo, Trey Songz/Usher, Trey Songz/R.Kelly, Michael Jackson/James Brown and Jackie Wilson, R. Kelly/Charlie Wilson, etc.

  These stars eventually find their own lane and move on. I have visited many videos on youtube where Nicki has mentioned Kim’s name numerous times and has given Kim mad homage and respect. But, at some point Nicki has to move on or she will get stuck in Kim’s shadow. And if anybody is paying attention to Nicki now, there is not a glimpse of Kim’s style anywhere in her lyrics or fashion style.

  After listening to many interviews that Lil Kim gave about the so-called “Nicki” beef, I hesitate to finally realize that Kim is just “severely” jealous of Nicki’s success. Why isn’t Kim upset at Kimora Lee for creating the first “Barbie” doll that is sold in stores, if she is so hooked on somebody stealing the Barbie brand? I never heard her say that Kimora owes her homage. I never heard her complain about Nicki, when Nicki was underground. Nicki even mentions Kim’s name on the duet they started with D-Dot, “Nicki Minaj and Little Kimberly, when they see the squad b*tches better salute like assembly.”

  Kim went and invested into being a “valley” girl and in the meantime, she left the female rap game wide open. Even an interviewer on DWTS asked her, “Shouldn’t you have a Barbie doll on the shelf by now?” Kim went to sleep and Nicki woke her ass up. This hatred Kim has about homage and respect is a turn off and it makes her look desperate the way she is now talking about singles, collaborations and an album. Kim hasn’t talked like this in years.

  I like Lil Kim and will buy her album once it drops. I just hope she gets over it and realize how she is coming across to the public. Kim has a huge fan base, so I know she will do well with her music, but, please Kim, Nicki has already took it to another level. She is nothing like you – anymore.

  @Dane, I agree Kim is the Queen. That is why I am so perplexed by her anger and bitterness towards Nicki. Kim will prevail in the end, this I know. But, I’m surprised that it turned into a beef, when it could have just been Lil Kim coming out with a new album, “beef-free.”
