John Legends & The Roots Unveil Collaborative Album Cover

John Legend and The Roots have teamed up on a politically charged new album called ‘Wake Up!’. The record, which will hit stores on September 21st, will feature contributions from Melanie Fiona and Common as well as a cover of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Wholy Holy’.

    I MUTHA F*****’ LOVE, LOVE, LOVE The Roots! Black Thought is PHENOMENAL! This is my favorite rap group (and Outkast). And John Legend is so freakin’ awesome! I absolutely LOVES him to pieces! OMG! I can’t wait for this! Geez, I’m so damn anxious! YASSSSS! Come one September 21st!
