Destiny’s Child fans may be in for a treat, if LeToya Luckett‘s recent statements are anything to go by. For, during a recent Ustream chat with fans, the 29 year old hinted strongly at the likelihood of a collaboration with former band-mate, Kelly Rowland.

While asking viewers who they’d like to see her collaborate with, Rowland’s name was suggested by many, to which Luckett responded:
“Kelly is my pumpkin. She’s in Australia right now, so she won’t be able to make to it to my (Lusters) endorsement party. However, we have been talking and will likely do something real soon!” Later adding: “Kelly LOVES going across that water…swimming with them dolphins!” {Source}
Who would have thought, even as recently as last year, that we’d be seeing headlines or even pictures such as these (or this)? It’s great to see that the drama has been left in the past and that the ladies are able to celebrate their history. Bring on the collabo!

it’s truly amazing how much things can change when you fire Matthew Knowles #noshade but im excited 2 hear that and hope this rings true if so we can expect more collaborations from the DC family and hopefully a reunion

This is exciting and interesting!
It will be interesting to see how they sound together now.. After all of the training they had in the group, I can still hear similarities in tone from all the ladies of DC. They probably still blend very well together..

I think it’s nice that they are all in touch…, none more surpring than when you see Letoya hanging with Michelle though. I’m always like, how did you two meet? Cos it sure wasn’t in the group lol. I don’t think there is bad blood with Beyonce but I can imagine that her schedule is ridiculous enough that she doesn’t have time to see anyone outside of her work-camp. If someone’s that busy, outside of immediate family and colleagues (and husband) I doubt it’s easy to keep waning friendships alive without common interests. While I’m not a fan of Kelly or Letoya’s music I’d be interested in hearing the together on record, singing songs that were appropriate for their voices as DC’s music was bulit around Beyonce’ ability, not theirs.

LeToya and Beyonce ARE cool, they may not hang like the others but it’s all love. Beyonce doesn’t really hang with anyone but Jay Z, so don’t read too much into who she doesn’t hang with….

That would be awesome and LeToya and Kelly are both successful. LeToya has two great albums, and they both did well, Kelly has a lot of success overseas. I’m a huge LeToya fan and Kelly has grown on me over the years, so people just need to shut the hell up. Both women are immensely talented and doing the same things, so instead of hating, congratulate.
