With the The-Dream now at the centre of a cheating fiasco, the singer-songwriter has announced via his spokesperson that his 9 month marriage to Christina Milian is over, with the pair having now separated….

“Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.” {Source}
Perhaps I’m cynical, but I emphatically call BS. Unless Christina was hell-bent on fronting about their relationship, why on earth would she be tweeting the following as recently as two weeks ago…
What’s more, I don’t see how fronting for the public would ‘protect’ their daughter – who was only born in February. Surely, if the relationship didn’t work out, being honest and adult about the matter for the sake of their kid would be the smartest thing to do; as opposed to pretending to be an item, only for pics such as those which surfaced today to come into public domain. On top of this, Ms. Milian has been throwing subtle shade at The Dream only as of today…leading me to believe there is some kind of gag/pre-nup agreement (ok, maybe I’m reaching….lol)
Still, things just aren’t adding up.
In any case, another couple bites the dust.
Randomness: If his story of being separated since last year is true, it’d mean they were only married for three months!

He married her because the single ladies song he wrote for Beyoncé was the 2009 phenomenom and boosted his career…he knew he was up for a couple of Grammys, he didn’t want to come off as a complete ass by leaving then pregnant Christina.
