Chris Brown and Usher fans were in glee earlier this week when Bryan-Michael Cox announced that the duo were going on tour. However, even after Brown proposed to the idea on his Twitter, the plans for the show have been officially scrapped. There is no official word from either artist’s camp as to why the venture was canceled. Brown has since removed any messages referring to the tour from his Twitter page. {Source}
I guess we’ll just be stuck with Rihanna and her squealing as the only alternative unless we go to Trey Songz’s sex show, ‘Passion, Pain, & Pleasure’. At least we still have Lady GaGa.

Well, personally I don’t think it had anything to do with Usher being a ‘flip-flopper’. Maybe it was simply because Graffiti has already finished and Usher’s RvsR is still in rotation. Chris is working on a new album, and I believe it was more so the timing. Usher is set to go on tour at the top of next year. And in the statements released by both camps, it was ‘AT THIS TIME’ meaning that it may happen in the future. Chris’s album will not be completed and in circulation in time enough for them to tour together… logical reasoning. Also what does Ciara being off of his single have to do with anything here? Gucci Mane was also supposed to be on LITC instead of Young Jeezy and got scrapped…. Usher too was supposed to have been on that Luda song that Chris was on and he got scrapped. I think Chris’ mother (@mombreezy) is a sweetheart, but she overdoes it when she Tweet-preaches about “haters” and “enemies” who are out to get him. The world is not out to get Chris, he just needs to learn how to play the rules of this game called The Music Business (which is unfortunate that he doesn’t know them by now since he’s been in The Business for 5 years) and realize that he has people closest to him that are holding him back.

How is Usher using Chris Brown for publicity?? Usher currently has a top 10 Billboard hit, had a #1 hit in BIllboard, and is currently #1 on the R&B charts. He’s also just gotten off a successful Asian tour with sold-out crowds and has one of pop’s biggest stars signed to his label. Chris is still repairing his image… They just recorded a song together which is probably going to appear on Chris’s new album.. not Usher’s. If anyone is ‘using’ someone, wouldn’t it be Chris using Usher??? Your logic does not make sense..
I never saw CB give shade to Usher previously. I saw an interview w/ Angie Martinez where he said Usher was doing his thing and CB wanted to make his own mark on music.
I’m disappointed that they won’t tour but life goes on. CB and Usher can’t really be compared by records sales cuz CB has only been out for 5 years while Usher has been out for more than 10 years. CB had more earlier success with his music while Usher started to experience more success after he turned 20 years old.
I respect both of them as artist and think there was some politics behind the decision and it was other individuals behind the artist for this idea to be retracted.

You failed to mention that it was Usher’s set in which Chris joined. IE he was a special guest to Usher’s set and a surprise. Usher had already been performing some 40 mins prior. I know from first hand experience the music business is EVIL and unfaithful in its practices. Hmmm…that is interesting that Usher wouldn’t want to be associated with Chris when just last month he was performing with and hugging him on stage in Jamaica. Not to mention they were at numerous games together sitting courtside laughing it up. There was also word that they recorded a song together when they were in Jamaica. Usher is a friend to CB, he is not afraid to be seen with Chris and he has made that quite obvious.
It is also interesting how mainstream isn’t checking for him, when two of the biggest radio stations in New York added ‘Deuces’ to their playlist and it is now top 5 on the r&b charts, and top 40 on Billboard Hot 100. MTV Jams MTV Hitlist plays ‘Deuces’ around the clock.

Again, Usher had ALREADY been performing and if you took the time to read all captions, you would see that. Well lets see since we are stating facts. At the release of Graffiti he had about 170k followers. Obviously no one was feeling him at that time. It was not good timing because of his passed actions. Workers at Walmart thought they had the right to hide his CD. He had no promotion except a few radio interviews. Most interviews he did were about the situation more then anything. While his die hard fans thought it was some of his best work other thought differently cuz of the fact 25% of the album was about Rihanna(no one wanted to hear about her) and it was a differnt CB they werent used to really. It was all bad timing and too fast it was kinda rushed and the process of releasing it was poorly done. Crawl was a beautiful song but no one wants to hear about Chris crawling back to Rihanna which explains why Deuces is doing so well.
I hate people that don’t have logical thinking and throw the word flop out there and just sound dumb. So really if Chris continues playing his cards right and maybe take a short break and his increase as followers and gain of fans again since the release of his last album…..he should be good 😀

Chris has accomplished so much in music despite one album flopping. And every artist has a flop album so what is that really saying? Out of the 5-movies that premiered THIS past weekend, it was #2. It cost ONLY $17-Million to produce and brought in $11,125,000; which I THINK is just over 65%! The ONLY movie that premiered this past weekend, that had a higher ROI, for it’s first-week, was “Vampires Suck” (ROI OVER 90%)! Bow Wow beat-out Jennifer Aniston AND Julia Roberts (ROI first week 49%/ROI 78% after 2nd week)!!
So if it drops to half, say $5-million it’s 2nd-week, which is uncommon, that’ll mean it’d have done $16M and have cost $17-Million to make. Which would mean, it’d have ALREADY RETURNED what it cost to produce — ALONE AT THE MOVIES and NOT THE DVD SALES!
Now, of ALL the movies that premiered THIS past weekend, not-only, did it cost the LEAST to produce, but was shown, in the LEAST-amount of theaters(1,973); that said, it beat EVERYONE on a per-theater return basis. The reason I bring this up(?), the co-star, Brandon T.
