For, the push-backs and lack of full-on promotion has done little to generate buzz among casual music listeners – who, along with her fans, she’ll be needing to pick up the album whenever it finally hits stores.

Her and Ciara are on the same level actually. Both their albums have sold about the same, both their debut songs are their only #1s on the Hot 100..Foolish was prob a bigger hit than all of CiCi’s songs though. Both their last albums flopped but Ashanti’s has sold more, mainly cuz it came out a year before, still a flop though, lol.
Though Ride reached #43 on the Hot 100 & Ashanti’s last song back 2008 reached #37.

Ciara needs to go back and work with Jazzy Pha :: Thats when she was at her peak and when everyone LOVED her. After that all her songs started sounding the same but worse and now its gotten really bad. If I was her I would definitly go back to workin with Jazzy and if not make a unique dance record with atleast SOME VOCALS unlike Ride, Oh, Like A Boy, and Love S** Magic.
We all need to stop dissing the female R&B singers we have left in our music industry. All I see is people constantly calling artist like Ciara, Ashanti, Brandy, Keyshia and etc. a flop. Its really sad because alot of people also sit here wishing music was the same way it was 10-20 years ago. My question is: who is really selling? The last female artist that was pretty successful was Monica. Yeah she sold alot thanks to being a veteran in the game, and having a reality show – but her music isnt on top of the charts. We all pay attention and listen and even buy music from the non-singers that lack talent and are just eye candy like Lady Gaga, Kesha, Rihanna, and have seem to forgotten who are real female R&B artist are. Im surprised America still loves Beyonce, someone that actually has a voice and talent.

I really think Ciara needs to find another career path perhaps in modeling or choreography. Vocally she just doesn’t have it and hanging out with the Kardishihoes hasn’t helped her either. Vibe said it best when they described her vocals as membrane thin. However she does have a contract to fulfill so drop the last cd for them & find a new job because singing isn’t it. She really adds nothing new or exciting to the industry.
