No I think his next album will do more then Gold if its good material. Graffiti flopped for many reasons but I dont care to go in to them cuz I know all that will be fixed on this next album. Takers was a lower-budget affair, much like the other movies that producer produced ‘This Christmas’ ‘Stomp the Yard’ and ‘Obsessed’. It’s a lower end production company. Those actors signed on because the director was a first time director, but an amazing guy. Takers is not a summer blockbuster, and it was never meant to be, hence putting it out in August. It made the amount of money it was supposed to make, and will more than pay for its budget.
Now, on to Rihanna’s film Battleship. That film is apart of a deal between Hasbro and Universal Pictures to make summer blockbusters with huge budgets based on their games.
G.I. Joe & Transformers were among those movies.
Universal Pictures versus Rainforest Films. No one can be serious about comparing those two production companies, or comparing two movies that come out in different seasons and that are meant to different things.

The movie battle ship is costing almost a half of a billion dollars, it better do well in the movies, we have three people/stars who are not movie carriers, so it will have to be the space ship and the battle ship that will carry the movie and not the actors.

Takers had a budget of $20 million and it made basically 21 million in 3 days meaning it will make well over its budget. The first industry predictions for the movie were that it would either flop or make 10-15 million dollars opening weekend….then on sunday they estimated around 21 million since it was performing so well. Either way its the #1 movie. So really when you think about it which one is better a movie or a single? #1 Movie>>>>>#1 Single(sales wise of course).

Reading these comments has been thorougly entertaining-thnx tiff trublue etc! Its the tours that make the money not the sales of the album, so even if it doesnt sell well, she probably wouldnt be bothered. Am not a big fan but shes probably made millions now that she doesnt even need to release another album again, so a “flop” album wouldnt really affect her. Rihanna’s current image change is WAY too rushed and it sort of disappoints me since I want to “believe” her but I don’t even know what to think. Now, calm down, you Stans! I’m not disregarding her right to “find herself” or whatever that means to y’all. All I’m saying is that her image change fell pretty quickly & conveniently after her last album. It seems like a sale and there’s nothing wrong with that. That’s the business. If you buy all of it, then that’s cute for you. I don’t and I really wish she could have stayed “dark” a little longer. I really loved her “F*ck You” image . I wasn’t ready to let that go . Who knows, maybe it wasn’t working as well for others as it did for me . idk. Just my opinion anyway .
