I am sooooooooo pumped for this album it’s not even funny. Her debut album was underrated in terms of sales but at least she won critical praise for it. I think it deserved that Grammy for Best Contemporary R&B Album. I hope her album stays on schedule and doesn’t get the push back treatment like everyone else did. This year has been great for real R&B. We got albums from Sade, Erykah Badu, Monica, Fantasia and NOW Jazmine.

I will be buying her album!!! I just hope we can return to singing over r&b beats instead of singing over hip-hop beats, and rapping over hip-hop beats instead of rapping over r&b beats. Somewhere along the way we got it twisted and that’s when music began to decline. We need to get back to the essence.
