I love JoJo. Why do people always feel that mixtapes are a bad thing? Artists do mixtapes to see what people want to hear from them, and if it isn’t good, guess what? The people didn’t have to pay a dime for it. I’d rather have artists put out mixtapes that are really good, than pay $12-$14 for an album that sucks!

to say she is underated would be an understatement
I think her “look” does not sit well with mainstream, hopefully the dark hair will help. I only bring up her “look” because it seems as if she has clearly every ingredient to be on a Miley Cyrus level w/ a lil more swag a’course ….. maybe im reaching with Miley comparison but you get me.

If you recall Jojo was the first approached to play the role of Hannah Montana but declined feeling it wasn’t suitable for her image, so lets stop with the comparisons ,plus Jojo is very pretty nothing ugly or unattractive about her!

Gabrielle darling, to correct you I referenced Miley not compared and said “look”, you filled in the blank with your own words…
JoJo’s talent and music is far more superior to many of her “peers” but she has never been but in a position where she has been the face of well known brands or had an “image” contrived or not which is sadly what helps album sales these days there by limiting her exposure to mainstream audiences.
In a perfect world it would be all about the music but sadly it is not. She cannot just sing, be talented and pretty. It sucks to say that formula = boring to mainstream esp with the gaga’s and minaj’s of the industry.

Why is JoJo making mixtapes? You see what I mean about REAL talented artists being shelved for jokers? Jo Jo can SANGGGG like a black chick but she’s not getting her dues because she doesnt offer gimmicks and doesnt sell sex. I will definitely be supporting her but someone needs to craft her quickly because she has it!
