Following our report that Kelly Rowland‘s video for current single ‘Rose Coloured Glasses’ was recently shot in 3D, That Grape Juice can reveal that acclaimed fashion photographer Rankin directed the clip.
Having photographed some of Hollywood’s biggest names including Madonna, Vivienne Westwood, and Britney Spears, Rankin’s music video resume includes Nelly Furtado’s ‘Say It Right’ and Kelis’ ‘Acapella’ videos.
It’s awesome to see Kelly collaborating with the industry’s finest – finally. One can only hope the clip itself turns out great.
NOTE TO UNIVERSAL MOTOWN: We’re gonna need a video for ‘Grown Woman’ with the swiftness!

I totally agree….I hate when they hype up something when we have no clue what it really is. Just like her Commander video…everyone was going crazy b4 it came out and then when it did…it was such a big let down.
But, i do hope kelly has a few major hits with this album. I do like her and I am checking for the album when it drops.
ps: I really hope she includes ‘Each Other’ on the album even though it leaked already…such a hot song. Reminds me of a ‘Please Dont Stop the Music’ part 2.

So excited to see this video! The Acapella video was goregous was jipped for VMA nominations IMO.
I can’t wait for this song and think it has more layers than Grown Woman even though Grown Woman seems to be getting more supporting here in the States…but only because people here in the States won’t take the Rose Colored Glasses off.
