Video: Sabrina Washington Performs ‘OMG’ In Poland

Published: Tuesday 10th Aug 2010 by Sam

It’s been a quiet few months for former Misteeq star Sabrina Washington. Indeed, after her single ‘OMG’ failed to ignite the UK charts, the stunner seemingly went silent.

However, she has reappeared in Poland (random, I know), posting this brand new performance of ‘OMG’ (which is said to be doing well there) on her official Youtube page a few moments ago.

Click below to see how she fared…

Appalling background dancers aside, the performance was rather decent. Above all, it’s great to see Ms. Washington enjoying success with the song somewhere; for, as a catchy R&B-Pop cut, ‘OMG’ too good to go unnoticed.

Yes, I was the first to comment! And…according to other comments…it has already been charting in Poland…which is great because it was a good pop song that was very catchy and had a memorable hook…certainly better than Alesha Dixon’s DRUMMER BOY (and I like Alesha)

WTF. Sounds like a horrible cross of Usher’s OMG and Lady Gaga’s Telephone.

Just so you know….OMG came out BEFORE Usher’s “OMG”

I’m from Poland and didn’t even noticed it. I don’t listen to some kind of sh!t and don’t watch festivals like that.
And yes, this song is doing well here. Too well unfortunately. But Poland is very “late” country in music, so don’t be suprised.

Actually this song is Amazing if you ask me.

Its soo catchy and she sings it live soo well.

The Girl Definitely has a voice. It seems to me that

she could reach Brienty or Rihanna status if she just

made more moves. She definitely has a better voice,

more natural looks, and a better ear for sound if she’s

putting out this kind of Quality stuff. I could dance to this

    all f***** night.

GOOD FOR HER, I ACTUALLY LIKED THAT SONG AND IT’S A SHAME IT DIDN’T DO WELL HERE IN THE UK. IT WAS PROBABLY BECAUSE HARDLY ANY OF THE MUSIC CHANNELS OR RADIO PLAYED IT, I SAW IT LIKE TWICE ON TV EVER.
IF SHE’S DOING WELL IN POLAND THEN SHE SHOULD MAKE SURE TO KEEP PROMOTING THERE AND SHE CAN HOPEFULLY SOLIDIFY A FAN BASE WHILE WORKING ON THE UK TOO.

QUESTION: HOW THE F*** ARE THE SATURDAYS ON COURSE FOR NO1 WITH THAT S*** “MISSING YOU” AND THIS GOT NOWHERE?! #FAIL

P.S MISS WASHINGTON WAS LOOKING FIIIIIIIINE, SHE WAS WORKIN IT AND HER HAIR & DRESS WERE FIERCE <<< AND THAT IS A WORD I DON'T USE LIGHTLY LOL. 🙂

Good for her, just shows you that if an artist believes in there work and is willing to think out of the box they can get their music heard and respected else where, this is a big world, the UK and the US are not the only markets for music

she looks way LIGHTTEERRRRRRRRR! WOW bleaching is the movement

  11. Jorge527 August 10, 2010

    Well. I didn’t know that! Thanks 😀
But it still sounds like a cross between the two songs which is not that delightful to my ears.

you are so SCORNFUL about POLAND. Poland (random I know). Like it is a third world country…

This blog has gone too far in the recent months…

Trent is a b******, okay everyone know.
But Sam???!!! You have also changed a lot recently.

    FLOP JUICE

Love this song and I’m so glad Sabrina is still out there. I hope she doesn’t stop pursuing her solo career. And yes for the record… this song came out before Usher’s “OMG”. I have no doubt that Will.I.Am heard this and was inspired to do his own version (which kind of sucks for Sabrina).

  14. Dev August 10, 2010

Nah, this song is trash and generic, her misteeq stuff was better.

Her voice is very poppy, i dont like it

  15. Pete from Poland August 10, 2010

What’s wrong with Poland? You should be glad she’s getting recognition outside of the UK. Plus, Polish radiostations ADORE British acts, so no need to write things like ‘random, I know’. Alex Burke’s singles fare amazingly well here in Poland, so do Sugababes’ or Alesha’s. Stop being so condescending 🙂
