This was one of the best videos of 2008, I was very pissed when she had shelved her album another 7 months after this, only to get the lukewarm poptube “Never Ever.” I think by this time we started to see the laziness of her record label, and it is still lazier than ever.

Yes, this is one of the best videos of recent memory. Funny, I had to have a watch of it recently…, just goes hard from top to bottom. I agree she’s mad masc in the metal outfit but I think that works for her in a Grace Jones kinda way, because the thing she has that separates her from Aaliyah and maybe even Janet is the slight androgeny she has going on that although initially a negative she’s instead built into her repertoire and made it a unique feature of her act. I like that because it pulls her into her own lane.
Anyway, this video is flawless IMO. Alos, it really goes with the robotically programmed style of the song, her voice really fits with T-Pain’s tightly vacuumed shout-outs. I personally would love to write and perform a song like this. For me this was a step in the right direction for Ciara that unfortunately the masses didn’t buy into.

I mean yall are overdoing it. It was nothing earth-shattering (i.e. songs like Whitney’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, Janet’s “Rhythm Nation”, Michael’s “Beat It”, Madonna’s “Dress You Up”, Billy Idol’s “White Wedding” Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” Rihanna’s “Umbrella” Gaga’s “Bad Romance” CB’s “With You”, or even her own “Promise” etc.) It was just alright. REAL mediocre nothing compared to none of the songs/videos above. Just saying i want Ciara to be as eager as she once was

Go girl is such an absolutely amazing piece of work. It is a real pity that Ciara and TPain were not shot to super star status for this work. Instead they shove cartoon characters like nicki and riri down our throats and still wonder why music isnt selling.
The MOST amazing thing about ciara is that she doesnt need huge numbers of dancers, fancy robots, or outlandish costumes to make the BEST videos on the planet. It is always her ALONE with her few dancers and a male support. That shows REAL talent

I paid $27.95 for Fantasy Ride, while other CDs were selling for $9 to $17. HER MUSIC COMPANY IS OVERPRICING FOR HER WORK, DURING THIS RECESSION WHILE SMART MUSIC COMPANIES ARE REDUCING THE PRICE OF CDs.
Her music was being heavily bootlegged in the black community which is her PRIME MARKET BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO MARKET HER UNDER A POP LABEL TO ALLOW HER TO REACH A LARGER AUDIENCE. she needs a new record label.
Justin Bieber only sells for $8/copy at walmart.
