  87. WHITE JESUS September 18, 2010

    i like how the ”urbans” are the after thought.he’s urban and that makes him have a pop audience outside of the regular ‘urbans”

  88. kody September 18, 2010

    alot of people say that yeah3x is for white people pop audience which it is they act like thats the only pop song that breezy is about to give them matrix which is pop/rock so the matrix is something for the white people sept 27

  89. ALEX (Rihanna + Black eye + stylist= digital sales) September 18, 2010

    Chris is so s*** did i mention that?

  90. JustTellinItLikeItIs September 18, 2010

    @Nicky You said that the only reason you come on CB posts is because CB fans come on Rihanna posts. Why are you stooping to their levels? Ignore them. Not to mention ThatGrapeJuice always bash Rihanna. So why bother coming on here? Go to RihannaDaily and go worship your “Precious Pop Princess” Rihanna. BTW I’m a CB and Rihanna fan. You need to stop bragging about Rihanna and her #1 singles especially on a CB post. You’re making yourself and Rihanna look bad.

  91. Stacey September 18, 2010

    Nicky:

    I’m not over at Rihanna’s posts posting crap, so I can speak on you…

    You have ISSUES. For real, though. I can understand your anger if you’re Rihanna herself; however, if you’re just a fan, you take the whole “stan” thing to another level. I know people post on Rihanna’s threads and make negative comments, but its not right at the flippin top of the comments. Yours is #4, so you can’t say you’re responding to someone saying something about Rihanna.

    For the record-I don’t care if Rihanna sells 100 million records. SHE CAN’T SING. Most of the artists today can’t sing, which is why every awards show sucks and everyone sounds terrible. Almost every album that is on Billboards is by an artist who records their entire CD through autotune. What you get live is THEIR REAL VOICE. I hate it when people say someone just isn’t a good singer live. THAT’S THEIR VOICE! Shouldn’t they at least resemble the voice on the CD?

    If autotuned “hits” satisfy you, how nice for you. For those of us who actually remember when no one gave a crap about someone’s swagger or what they wore to crucify a song in.

  92. kody September 18, 2010

    @everbody laughing at nicky

  93. kody September 18, 2010

    like i said matrix is the first pop song that breezy has given them in while not yeah3x i cant wait for the video once it drops then the song the do great on the charts

  94. Keesha September 18, 2010

    @Nicky I’m not always on a Rihanna post.

  95. Bluekid September 18, 2010

    Chris Brown is doing his thing, Go Chris! Go! LOL

  96. iLoveXtina September 18, 2010

    F.A.M.E = I’ve never cancelled/down-sized my concerts/tours.
    F.A.M.E = I’ve played to, as THE headliner, a 90-thousand strong-audience in the Philippines.
    F.A.M.E = I have a HS diploma *cough*Rihanna can’t say that*cough*
    F.A.M.E = There has NEVER been a 21-year-old whose had the #1 song while simultaneously having the #1 movie in the country!
    F.A.M.E = There has NEVER been a 21-year-old whose been the co-star/executive director of a #1-Movie, WHILE having the #1 R&B song in the country!
    F.A.M.E = Never having to be alone(there’s no room left in the trunk) ; – 9 (wink)
    F.A.M.E = Haven fallen, but being recognized, “as blessed-enough with such talent,” as to again rise!

    F.A.M.E = Being now-aware of the parasites, who themselves now-make-home, the “D-list”, who’ll NOW smile in my face, and wanna-now be seen with me!

    … And… finally, F.A.M.E is the need to be reminded ’bout the parable/fable: The Scorpion and the Frog…
    “…The story is about a scorpion asking a frog to carry him across a river. The frog is afraid of being stung, but the scorpion reassures him that if it stung, the frog would sink and the scorpion would drown as well. The frog then agrees; nevertheless, in mid-river, the scorpion stings him, dooming the two of them.
    When asked why, the scorpion explains, “I’m a scorpion; it’s my nature…”

    Chris tweeted earlier that willow’s whipin my hair is a smash I hope he follows her back on twitter she’s so cute.

  105. NICKY September 18, 2010

    I LIKE B*** MEAT SANDWICHES!

  106. JAZ0195 September 18, 2010

    @NICKY Even tho I Think rihanna can’t sing I Actually like most of the stuff she puts out and I bought only girl on Itunes. I just can’t stand being on a rihanna post and see her stans clowning on other artists to boost her up it’s just makes her look bad.

  107. True Blue September 18, 2010

    I normally wouldn’t post on CB post, but this time I went to see if Riyodel stans would come here to start some s*** up involving their idol. And what do you know, that’s exactly what they’ve done. And then on a Riyodel post, they’ll accuse CB stans of starting drama, when that is rarely, if ever the case.

    BTW, I’m not a Chris fan, but I do think he’s talented and I think he got a raw deal from the media post-incident. I hope his comeback proves to be successful.

    @ Stacey:

    100% agreed.

  108. True Blue September 18, 2010

    * And then on a Riyodel post, they’ll accuse CB stans of being the first to start drama, when that is rarely, if ever the case.

  109. Tiff September 18, 2010

    ahh yes..
    finally some good music.

    @stacey

    good post!

  110. Lady September 18, 2010

    I like the Title. But alot of people take it wrong as if he is blaming others and not taking responsibitly. All he means is he is forgiving people who kept wishing and hoping for his downfall. Im sure he is aware he is the one that is in need of forgiveness not them. He is forgiving the assholes at Walmart who hid his CD in the store, the evil ass people that have the nerve to wish death on him, the ones who only wanna see him fail at life. But some people are too ignorant to take in the meaning. And they’ll get mad. But its alright because CB forgives you 😀 But deep down I think he really means F*** ALL MY ENEMIES!

    And I just hope they dont rush the album. It needs time to build hype around it. So I think he should release it like March or April of next year. I heard he is releasing Yeah 3x in a few days. But we’ll see. He just doesnt need to release an album before this year is up. But then again other artist release album after album so why not…. as long as he promotes it right *cough cough Jive FIX your s****

    I also had a feeling he would name it after his tattoo. I like it. Forgiveness is the key!

    Also Rihanna stans STFU! Ya’ll asses got slayed in the Rihanna post so now ya’ll come here lmao. I dont care about sales. If the material is good and you are talented thats all that matters. Sales are nice but as I said in the other post they obviously arent gonna get you on your way to becoming an icon.

    He needs to make it like his Exclusive era. That was well promoted and wasnt rushed.

  111. keepingitreal September 18, 2010

    chris is gonna slay and the rihtards are feeling the heat

  112. Oceanmate September 18, 2010

    “Do your thang! Chris. can’t wait for your music to drop!

  113. Rihsus September 18, 2010

    @Stacey
    Yeah cuz Chris is the next Luther and has never used auto-tune and always sings live.
    🙄

  114. RATED X September 18, 2010

    How much do yall wanna bet F.A.M.E stands for, F*** ALL MY ENEMIES

    I feel u chris breezy, some b****** stay bitter while his money stay getting long..

    I just hope he comes hard on this album..

    To the album title..meh. Gaga had “The Fame” and “Fame Monster” so I guess I’m tired of that word right now. Anyways, glad Chris is getting back to where he belongs. Hope he doesn’t f*** up again and hopefully keeps his mom off Twitter.

  116. uh okay September 18, 2010

    @RIHSUS

    Even though you are a Rihanna stan and you always show up on CB posts (ANNOYING) You aren’t usually disrespectful and you do state opinions with some truth to them. CB is by no means the best singer in R&B/Pop but he is a great dancer and he is talented. Rihanna leaves a lot to be desired in the singing department as well & she CAN’T dance so what is the appeal?? Her looks and fashion sense. I think so.

  117. Rihsus September 18, 2010

    @uh okay

    I don’t hate Chris, I was never a fan but was slightly interested in what he was up to & I liked a couple of his songs. He is a talented performer and i’ll only comment depending on what it is but my comment up there was directed towards Stacy acting like Chris is the next Stevie wonder vocally.
    He’s guilty of everything she’s accused Rihanna and…. “Almost every album that is on Billboards…..”

  120. DANA September 18, 2010

    How would one know what someone is saying on their twitter unless they are following them. So what I am hearing people are following Chris’s mother. If so WHY?

    NEWSFLASH!!!

    BIG UPDATE FOR CHRIS FANS

    COMING STRAIGHT FROM THE

    SOURCE. READ IN HAPINESS!

    FROM CHRISBROWNWEB.COM

    I had the pleasure of getting this exclusive info for Team Breezy. I won’t say much, I’ll just let the interview do the talking. And, Frank E – make sure you take good care of our boy, Breezy! We, the fans, are trusting you! LOL!

    1. How did you guys come up with the song, “Yeah 3x”?
    I was working late one night in the studio when I got a call from my manager. Chris was working in the studio down the street and wanted to me to come down and listen to some tracks. I walked in, met Chris for the first time, and played him 1 track. He sat there for 4 minutes listening, then said, “Ok, I’m ready.” He jumped in the booth and wrote the whole thing on the spot.
    2. Who wrote it?
    Chris did and he wrote it in about 15 minutes. I didn’t realize that he wrote so much until then. I was really impressed.
    3. Is the song from Chris’ forthcoming album?
    Chris told me he has two songs in mind for the singles for his album – “Yeah 3x” is the pop/rhythmic/crossover single, and he has one more that leans more urban.
    4. Will there be a music video?
    While we were working on the song, he described to me in detail his vision for the song, the music video, everything… he’s talented beyond belief and has a vision for his work.
    5. Will you and Chris be working together again?
    We have plans to work again soon in LA. Chris is great to work with because he works fast and off immediate inspiration. His vocals seem effortless, and watching him in the booth is like a mini concert. Be ready for more from Chris Brown and DJ Frank E!

  127. BK September 18, 2010

    Y’all need to act your age! This is absolutely ridiculous!! Rihanna has the #1 song on itunes. GREAT! But that has nothing to do with Chris’ album title. I think the haters are mad that Chris is finally making a strong comeback. Shout out to Chris, he’s doing his thing! Im not a crazy Chris Brown fan but because of this bs I always see, I will DEFINITELY go out and support this young man!!

  128. Rihsus September 18, 2010

  138. lolle September 18, 2010

    @DANA

    People did not take the comment by CB’s mom on Twitter the wrong way. It was a STUPID comment. She tried to justify it saying, “The Lord” told her to say it. I don’t defend everything my fave celeb or their family does because they are human, meaning not perfect. They mess up sometimes. MJ was not Jesus. It was like saying Jesus died so we all could live. Chris Brown is Chris Brown. NOT MJ. Mike does not need Chris’s help, he can carry HIS own legacy just fine. CB should worry about his own music career and legacy. I like CB but the people around him can be messy sometimes.

  139. LOUD?? September 18, 2010

    ‘Forgiving All My Enemies’ sounds more like hes portraying himself as a Victim. Which is likely since Rihanna is the one with the abusive Past & has the reputation of being a b**** & a W**** & her appearance inthat sit down interview didnt help Chris much either. What He did was wrong but whs to say that Rihanna didnt Provoke him to his Limit?? & He also has PPL still Hating as well(Rihanna stans).

    & I also wanted to point out that DEUCES >>> Only Girl

  140. Heaven September 18, 2010

    The only thing Chris Brown has to worry about is his whining ass fans. Everything he does is always a problem. If he’s telling you he’s going to drop some time this year or early next year ….what? He really hasn’t said when he would drop it.

    His fans claim to miss his music, you want to see him in concert with new material, you love him so much and you support him, right? Then put money away so you can purchase his cd. All of this b******* is for the birds. If you worry more about supporting him than you worry about Red’s fans it will work out great. There really is no competition is it? lol

    You know the real reason the fans love to hate each other? Because all of you love the damn drama! Whose mad? pfft.

  141. Lady September 18, 2010

    Chris isn’t a victium of anything but his own immaturity and lack of sense from Feb 09. Now in the Chrianna situation saying he is a victium is probably far from true….

    ….But he is a victium of something. The media. All celebs are a victium of the media and lies. They build you up to break you down. So in ways outside of that situation he does have a right to be the one saying “I forgive YOU”. Alot of people jumped off the bandwagon then jumped back on recently. Those of the people that helped break him down in the first place. Alot of people did do him wrong. You can debate wether or not he deserved it (althoug Walmart wouldnt blackball a DVD Set Of Two And A Half Men) but lets say those workers at Walmart who didnt like him and wanted him to fail so they hid his CD were out of line. Some of the punishments he got were what he deserved but for the most part the media took a young man and tried to destroy him. And you can’t say they didn’t. They tried everything to make people believe he was the next OJ or soemthing. All those people or “friends” as CB used to call them at one point that turned their backs instead of giving guadiance but are now back on his n** sack did him wrong. So I think he should be able to forgive some of his enemies. I think people take it the wrong way. You gotta forgive to move on. Imagine if he held on to the fact some of these people in the industry are only with you cuz you are whats hot? Nope he gotta forgive and move on FAME! Its that simple it has nothing to do with him beating Rihanna. But thats my take on it…

  142. Lady September 18, 2010

    I dont understand why Chris cant have enemies. He did do wrong but he has people that hate him(like seriously some people are out of line with the comments they make to him….smh) so basically Godbless you. I’m sure we have even seen some of those crazy comments on TGJ. That just are out of line but you got to forgive people like that because they are the ones with the real problem. I think its really stupid how people judge his meaning for FAME because they are the ignorant ones that fail to get the point. In fact by failing to understand the point and getting mad at him because of it you get added to the FAME List.

    Anyways enough of that. Wha is the cover gonna look like this time? Cuz Imma let ya’ll know right now if CB wears some damn tights or s*** on the cover this time we are gonna have a problem and I will be tracking down the person respinsible for it lmao.

  143. Kathy September 18, 2010

    Honestly, Chris’ mom shouldn’t be on Twitter. Is Chris even following her????

    And when will we just shut up and move on. Rihanna will not make Chris Brown. Chris Brown is will not Rihanna.

    Chris Brown is an average singer at best. He’s a good street dancer. He’s a performer/entertainer. Thats it. I don’t think other than that he’s anything great. He has some good music. But thats it. What throne ? lol

  146. Bluekid September 18, 2010

    @ TheMan (So call Man)

    That’s all James Brown was , a street dancer and a below average singer, but he was and still it the King.

    Michael Jackson, an artist whom got his style from James Brown who is a street dancer , and Michael Jackson was just an average singer, but he was and still is King!

    Most singer who has strong vocals and range did not become as big as the two above with the lesser vocals.

    Now days if the media is on your side you can be a yodeling goat, with little to no talent and make it.

  152. Stacey September 18, 2010

    Rihsus:

    I never claimed that Brown was the next Luther. Luther (God rest his soul) was a romantic crooner and no singer right now can fill his shoes, except maybe Will Downing imho.

    Brown has TALENT. He’s a “good” singer, but an awesome dancer. Sure, he hasn’t always sung live, but he’s dancing his ass off, so we give him a pass. Rihanna falls on her rear from walking across the stage and not even trying to dance, and STILL can’t sing.

    You failed to adequately respond to my post because it didn’t involve spewing out numbers and stats for Rihanna’s #1 singles. People haven’t purchased singles since 45’s went out, and itunes don’t count towards Billboards. Grafitti did extremely well on itunes, but I don’t recall any Rihanna stans giving him props for it.

    I don’t care about her sales. That’s neither here nor there. We live in a country when embiciles like Sarah Palin can run for Vice-President and the Tea Party can actually win elections. We live in a country where people like plastic filled Kim Kardashian and resident trailer trash Kendra Wilkerson can become millionnaires. We live in a country where the high school dropout rate is close to 50% and over 70% of black children grow up in single parent households. Given THESE numbers, I can see how someone like Rihanna can actually have people claiming she’s the Princess of Pop.

    I thought that you were supposed to stan for someone who is actually worthy of adoration, like, say, Jesus Christ. I don’t stan for a single human being. We are all flesh and subject to imperfections and failures because we’re human. When people obsess over another human being for something as superficial as their clothes and looks, and completely disregard the fact that they are uneducated, unintelligent, talentless, and show no true character, remorse for their contribution to other people’s downfalls, or concern for others who face the issues they claim to have suffered, they deserve no adoration or praise from anyone.

    Brown isn’t an angel. He’s made mistakes, as we all have. HE’S HUMAN. God doesn’t see one sin as greater than the other. Man created rankings for mistakes, making one worse than the other. We tend to see people’s fault as worse than average when they don’t hit a nerve where our own faults lie. Sure, most of us don’t abuse people physically, but we don’t some dirty s*** that would make us hang ourselves if they were exposed.

    Stop worshiipping another human being and try to devote your praise to the only perfect being ever-Jesus. Perhaps then you wouldn’t get so bent out of shape when someone’s opinion differs from your own.

    You really that close minded and cliche??? Anyway,

    We understand that a large majority of pop audiences are

  156. GET THE F*** OUTTA HERE September 18, 2010

    @BLUEKID

    I’m getting really F****** TIRED!! of people who know NOTHING about music saying Michael Jackson was an “average singer”. Tell Frank Sinatra that, he even said “the only person who sings better than me is MICHAEL JACKSON”, tell Quincy Jones, tell Michael’s vocal coach for over 30 years Seth Riggs that Michael was an “average singer’ and they would LAUGH in your face. The difference between CB’s version of TWYMMF in his BET Awards tribute was ENORMOUS. The best vocal performance in the Grammy tribute for MJ was Michael’s Listen to songs he sung as a kid, or songs like Human Nature, Get On The Floor, Dirty Diana, etc. That man was FAR from average!!!

    Prince, Michael Jackson, and others are MUCH better singers than they get credit for and they certainly s*** all over Chris Brown. I like Chris but I’m not a delusional stan.

  157. whatever September 18, 2010

    Did you honestly just say James Brown had less than average vocals??

    Please shut up. Your ignorance is showing

  158. whatever September 18, 2010

    @THEMAN

    I completely agree and UNLIKE Michael Jackson and other contemporary R&B singers like Tyrese, Joe, Maxwell, Jaheim, etc. Chris Brown is an AVERAGE singer. People like him for his dancing mainly, not his music. He would’ve sold more records by now if they did.

  159. MyWay September 18, 2010

    @X.Y AND Z, YOU BETTER PREACH & TEACH 🙂

    Do it Chris M. Brown! We are waiting for yet another wonderful, well-crafted, fun, and thoughtful (i.e. planned and artistic) project .

    F.A.M.E. = ALL OF THE ABOVE!

  160. MyWay September 18, 2010

    @LADY,

    I agree with you! That is exactly what I believe he means by F.A.M.E. forgiving the ppl who had smiled in his face while plotting his demise. Forgiving those who he had stood by during their trials who abandoned him in his hour of need. Forgiving those who never took the time to explore the truth on their own but merely followed the crowd charging against him.

    F.A.M.E. = thought provoking, honest, and from the heart, in other words Chris! And for those who choose to believe something otherwise, to hell with them! HATERS will do what they do best…….HATE!

  161. Bluekid September 18, 2010

    You guys must know nothing about music, how old are you? Know one knews what the fu@k what James Brown is even saying in his songs, when was the last time you even heard a James Brown song? “Mama come here quick bring me that licking stick” James Brown wasn’t much of a singer, he was more of a rapper and a screamer. James Brown really didn’t sing he talked his way throw his albums the closes he came to singing was “It’s a mans World”! “The Big Pay Back” he rapped his way threw the whole song go listen if you don’t believe me.

    With out Quincy Jones, Smokey Roberts, Berry Gardy, several other people, Michael Jackson would not had made it to where he is at. Quincy Jones damn near mad Michael Jackson, MJ best hits where made under the control of QJ.

    Berry Gardy brought in singers Ashford & Simpson and professional voice instructors to polish MJ voice before recording and they made sure that his voice was in the “pocket” has they say in the music business before they released the song.

    Producers and music production plays a big part in how an singer is going to sound and how the music will be heard.

    Stop being foolish, I know these are your fav, but MJ did not have the best of vocal, but he knew how to use what he had and what he had he made the best and it sounded good.

    There way better singers out there than MJ, who did not make it has big as him and Berry white, Teddy “Bear” Pentagress, Luther Vandross, Chico Debarge and I will even say Tavin Campbell had better vocals So you STFU!

    And this is my opinion so if you don’t like it …………………..

  162. @ YEAH September 18, 2010

    I look forward to reading all about Chris Brown and the other record breaking celebs!

  163. @ DANA September 18, 2010

    They are just trying to find some crap to start up some mess! Whatever a person’s mom has to say means nothing to me. They are not the celeb so who cares. As usual her comments as I have seen other ppls comments, were taken out of context. CB stated last year how big a fan his mom was of Micheal Jackson and it was her who introduced him to the greatness of MJ. I swear some ppl have no lives and are always looking to spread an evil report.

    MIchael Jackson MADE Quincy Jones. Notice nobody gives a f*** about the other artists Quincy worked with or produced for. Quincy got ma
    d when MJ left him because he still sold millions WITHOUT Quincy!! MJ asked Quincy to work with him when his record label DID NOT want him to work with Quincy.

    Quincy Jones said “Billie Jean” and ‘Smooth Criminal” were garbage and wanted them left off the Thriller and Bad albums. Those are two of MJ’s most ICONIC songs. Quincy was an IDIOT and still is one

    Tevin Campbell had ONE good album…. HE FELL OFF
    Chico Debarged had ONE good album…HE FELL OFF

    Teddy Pendergrass was a great singer but not better than MJ just different
    Barry White …no comment

    James Brown is the Godfather of Soul because of his voice, uniques styles of singing, and dance moves. MJ is the King of Pop for the same reasons (sold more records than ANY other solo artists, has more Guinness World Records and more #1s than ANY other male solo artists, has the most awards of ANY solo artist) and he didn’t achieve that “just because of his dancing”.

    Chris Brown is overrated but talented. Accept it. Not opinion, it’s FACT!!!

  173. @ SHIMMY September 18, 2010

    They may try to start some mess but it was officially announced that Chris Brown was the first entertainer in history to simultaneously have a #1 movie and a #1 song. That Monday after some turmoil, Takers was finally announced as the top movie in the country and on Thursday DEUCES was announced as the #1 song on the R&B- Hip Hop Chart. The American became the #1 movie the following week.

  174. I HATE STANS September 18, 2010

    BLUEKID is mad because MJ shits all over all those artists “it” mentioned

    Chico was a one hit wonder, Tevin Campbell FAILS. He was corny and he never did reach MJ’s level (SORRY Quincy), I won’t even mention the rests.

    Men LIE, Women LIE, Number’s DONT!!!!

    LIES won’t change the fact that MJ was one of the best SINGERS in history

    Celine Dion and Whitney Houston always talk about how genius Michael’s VOCAL ability was and they are two of the best female singers ever 😀

    Chris Brown sounds like he inhaled helium every time he sings. No shade but I prefer to watch him dance just like a prefer to watch Ciara dance. Just dance, DON’T sing!!!

  175. @ SHUT THE F*** UP _ _ (i LIKE bLUEkID) September 18, 2010

    Yes Chris Brown did not have a #1 movie and #1 song simultaneously!

  176. WTH??? September 18, 2010

    @BLUEKID

    If you’re going to make an argument, at least try to get people’s names right.

    Smokey Roberts??? NO it’s Smokey Robinson
    Berry Gardy??? No, it’s Barry Gordy

    LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  177. Bluekid September 18, 2010

    Is that all you got is that I missed spelled names than you fail.

    for has MJ he gave his soul to Satan. As mush as I love MJ the truth is the truth.

    I love MJ and he was most famous for “Thriller” ! and the concept of “Thriller” lives on to this day.

    MJ will always be one of my fav’s, but he effed ups life so miserably.

  178. Bluekid September 18, 2010

    The media hate M.J, just like they do CB, when the media hates you it matters not how talented you are.

    And that is what MJ had talent!

    The media can love you and you can be talentless and still get the fame and the popularity because the media is capable of fooling the people more than half the time.

  179. @ Ppl really need to stop September 18, 2010

    Chris Brown has never said he wanted to be Michael Jackson. He has stated that Michael was both his idol and his friend. Chris sings in a high pitch tone similar to Michael but you ppl really need to stop the madness. There will never be another Michael Jackson and Chris Brown is not as easy to replace within the music industry as some had hoped!

  180. Bluekid September 18, 2010

    no one has been able to reach MJ level, not even Elvis Presley reached MJ level, Elvis was big in the US, but Elvis became more famous after his death like Merilyn Monroe, their persona’s exploded.

    MJ will always be one of the greatest black entertainers that ever lived, nobody can take that away from him. But MJ did not write none of his biggest hits.
    The song writer and the producer deserve some credit too!

  181. Bluekid September 18, 2010

    I don’t think anyone was trying to state CB was trying to be MJ are take his place. For what I heard a little red headed girl album was suppose to top are be equal to MJ.

  182. wowzas September 18, 2010

    @BLUEKID

    MJ wrote and co-wrote MANY of his songs. You again show your stupidity.

    MJ wrote 4 of the BIGGEST HITS on the Thriller album

    “Billie Jean”
    “Beat It”
    “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin'”
    “The Girl Is Mine” (featuring Paul McCartney)
    and MANY more off of his other albums.

  183. @ BlueKid September 18, 2010

    I totally agree with you. Once the media decides to be against you the fact that you are a talented artist means nothing. The current state of the music industry is proof of that.

  184. 37373 September 18, 2010

    @BLUEKID

    Jackson reunited with Off the Wall producer Quincy Jones to record his sixth studio album. The pair worked together on 30 songs, nine of which were eventually included.[14] Thriller was recorded between April and November 1982, with a production budget of $750,000. Several members of the band Toto were also involved in the album’s recording and production.[14] ****Jackson wrote four songs for the record: “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin'”, “The Girl Is Mine” (with Paul McCartney), “Beat It” and “Billie Jean”.****[15] Unlike many artists, Jackson did not write these songs on paper. Instead, he would dictate into a sound recorder; when recording he would sing from memory.

  185. Ppl really need to stop September 18, 2010

    MJ was actually a very prolific songwriter and indeed wrote or co-wrote many of his hit songs. He has also written hit records for other artists. This is yet another connection between young Chris Brown and the great Michael Jackson. The super producer and songwriter Rico Love, commented a few weeks ago on how “dope” a songwriter Chris as become. I am proud of both of my favorite male artists, FOREVER Michael and my new love, young Mr. Brown.

  186. Bluekid September 18, 2010

    wowzas

    Quick to call some one stupid eh! “Off the wall” was the great introduction to MJ, what came next was his great song writing and hits like the one you named and we the help of composer QJ.

    “Brown has been on a roll lately. In addition to his first No. 1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs in nearly four years, he’s also co-starring in the film “Takers,” which was the highest grossing film at the U.S. and Canada box office last weekend (Aug. 27-29). It earned $20.5 million in its opening three days. “Takers” is Brown’s first foray into film since the November 2007 holiday release “This Christmas.”

    When has ANY artist, let alone, a 21-year-old executive produce/co-star(had the longest screen time) AND had the #1 R&B song?

    I think we’ve got some “revisionist history” going-on up-in-here today: “Michael Jackson made Quincy Jones” <<– SAY WHAT…?!?!?!
    Here's my link, which rebuts your idiocy: soulwalking.co.uk/Quincy%20Jones.html
    You ever hear of Patty Austin/James Ingram/The Brother's Johnson? (just to name a few)

    I find it pathetic how people will say things like MJ wasn’t that vocally talented, didn’t write songs, was successful only for his dancing, all FALSE. These are the same people who were probably never fans of Michael and can only name a few of his hits. They give credit for his success purely to other people. They compare him to any mediocre singer/dancer. Mean while you don’t see anyone doing that to the Beatles or Elvis. It’s pathetic and it seems like many people are threatened by MJ, They even give credit to “Satan” for his success. How pathetic. MJ would take it as a compliment. These retards who stan for their faves but keep on bringing up MJ.

    I am not really sure why there is a “brew-ha-ha” over Michael Jackson and Chris Brown? Chirs Brown is one of the few direct “descendents” of Michael’s storied legacy. There is no competition just a continuation of excellence in entertainment!

    Anyway, waving @ TeamBreezy! I am very excited to hear about the new CD title. I think its rather fetching.

    Lmao you fail! So how are you gonna call him a beater but can’t wait until he beats someone else(which won’t be happening so don’t get your hopes up). So you are calling him names showing you aren’t a fan of his because he beat someone but you want him to beat another woman? You are no better than he is then. So because of your patheic ego you rather see a young man become a beater that go on and change and be successful? Now in what world is that right? You sound so f****** dumb. That was patheic.

    @Shimmy
    My bad. I’ve been having lots of typos all day lol.

    And Takers was #1 the same time Deuces was #1 because The American wasn’t declared #1 until the following monday. So he did have a #1 single and #1 movie at the same time. He even said it on Twitter…

    the people on this blog who shall remain nameless keep bring up another musician who was an icon, an innovator, and one of the most influential artists and it confuse me. this entertainment legend is not relevant to the post and i don’t understand why he’s being brought up, especially when he’s being praised and ridiculed simultaneously by those said people “who shall remain nameless”. this music icon was extremely talented and gifted, creating his own success with minor help from others, but those others are not fully responsible for all of his accomplishments. i will re-iterate that this person is not relevant to this post, yet he is always being mentioned. perhaps those people ‘who shall remain nameless’ are resentful of this music icon’ success and are subliminally downplaying his talent to prop up the artist who is relevant to this post. however, this is rather stupid considering the artist relevant to this post has been greatly influenced by the music icon who is ALWAYS being mentioned, and who I repeat is not relevant to this post. the people “who shall remain nameless” that keep dropping this music icon’s name into their comments are actually showing their admiration for this icon. they wouldn’t talk about him if his success didn’t invoke fear, jealousy, and frustration (those who understand reverse psychology know this). to those people “who shall remain nameless”~seek therapy!!

  204. Stacey September 18, 2010

    Michael Jackson made his debut when he was 7years old. Brown didn’t come up until his late teens. Jackson had at least 8 years advance experience. I think that it is unfair to compare any other male singer to Jackson unless they started performing professionally when they were little kids. They should also have performed and recorded and toured with their brothers to hone their craft before going solo.

    Michael Jackson had been performing almost as soon as he could walk and talk, so the comparisons are bull.

    For this weekend, it’s estimated to do $3-Million, bringing the DOMESTIC total to $52,346,064!

    …So now, we’re keeping our eyes on “the $60-Million prize…!!!” Let’s see if we can reach $60-Million BEFORE it goes global! ; – 9 (wink)

    Here’s the link to the overseas/global release dates: sonypictures.net/movies/takers/international/

    In any case, look for ‘Takers’ to, AT THE VERY-LEAST, DOUBLE its current $52,346,064 domestic returns!

    …Again, I’ll ask, when has a 21-year-old EVER co-starred in/executive produced a #1-Movie(OVER $50-Million domestic grossing) WITH the #1 R&B song on the charts …??

    You are 100% CORRECT!! One of the few decent comments on this post. Some of the CB stans are really delusional and downright pathetic. Any person who questions MJ’s vocal talent is showing a serious lack of knowledge in music. Besides, it makes no freaking sense to degrade the very artist Chris looked up to. I think Chris would be very embarrassed and ashamed if he read those comments. He doesn’t need fans like those people (I won’t say who they are)

  218. liz September 19, 2010

    Lindsay Lohan & Tiger Woods made it into the Guinness Book and they also took blows to their reputations. CB just didn’t make the list because he didn’t break any records or set them recently.

    Released just over three weeks ago Chris Brown’s latest adventure in the heist film Takers, has officially passed the $50 million mark at the US Box Office with a total domestic gross of $50,271,000. The film starring T.I. and Idris Elba, amongst other stars, opened in the US less than a month ago and is set to be released in foreign box offices over the next few weeks meaning that it’s worldwide release may bring the film’s total gross into the $80,000,000+ territory.

    FYI: This weekend hasn’t been included in the domestic Takers total meaning that it’s domestic gross may increase by a few million.

    @INGRID OKONTA

    All fans are fanatics, that’s why the are called fans, because most become delusional of the real person that the entertain is are and what they have become, I’m talking about all entertainers. Fans get so transfixed on the entertainer that they become so delusional on the image and not the individual/ the real person.

    Fanatics become so fixed with the make believe persona, that entertainers can sell us anything. Entertainers, make them selves over and over until they come up with a package to sell to the public. I am young and I have siblings younger than me we are fans of different entertainers, we respect each other fans base.

    Older people in my family my parents, Aunts, Uncle, older 45 and up, none are fanatical about any entertainer, some say they never was, you are either good are you not. I’m not going to use any entertainer name in this post because on TGJ most of all are fanatics you cannot have a decent negative are positive post on a artist on TGJ or anywhere else. You can tell who is way old to be a fanatic on here, the post wishy washy, the want to straddle the middle of the fence, you can be a fan of both are all, but to come under several accounts with different names and avatars is a coward. TGJ knows I only come under one name, you either like me are hate me.

    @INGRID OKONTA

    I like Chris Brown music, I have never, never blog on any celebrity blog for any entertainer none, none. I have seen many injustices against many entertainers but none that I went out on a limb for none, none!

    Why than Chris Brown? Because I thing he is way to young, inexperience and had made a bad judgment and the made the wrong decision. I knew the media was going after him to rip him apart, with know mercy not because of what he done because he was a black man and a wiping board. The media deliberately went after Chris Brown, we have yet to see Charlie Sheen’s wife pictures, We seen Farrah Fawcett, beat up pictures with her eyes blacken and blue and black face, but why haven’t they shown Kim, “Eminem” wife pictures where he literally almost killed her?

    Fanatics, when is one to old to dedicate their whole day out of their lives to devote to an entertainer they don’t know. Some here are being paid to be here, some here are just fanatics. I my self have become a fanatic over justice due. Chris Brown has been sentence for his crime, weather people like the sentence are not he as been sentence. Linsay Lohan has the same since and has broke her probation more than twice and have not spent a month in jail. Why? She’s white.

    The scavengers wait in the dark waiting, waiting for Chris Brown to do one thing wrong so they can send him to prison, not jail but to prison for the duration of his time. There is a lot of injustice against black people in the United States.

    Chris Brown, put himself in this predicament, because he should have never hit are had a fight with Rihanna, never, never!

    Rihanna is a puppet she is not the woman like a Sandra Bullock, who can stand up for her personal life and a man who has wronged her and go about her business with out letting the media in her situation. Sandra Bullock is a real woman! Sandra Bullock is a strong woman! Sandra Bullock, told the media to go to hell, and did not say one bad word about Jesse James, got a divorce and took her little black man and went her on way.

    Rihanna is still a child in mind, and still must be told what to do, she can’t make choices, Def Jem makes all the choices and have all the say,

    This is Rihanna 5th album and she has 2 more to go before she can get out of her contract with Def Jem that brings her career right up to the year 2012! 🙂
    Rihanna under the rule of Def Jem will always be a child and be told what to do.

    I’m looking forward to the album “F.A.M.E.” since I love the title and its significance and love the snippet to “Yeah 3x.” Whether you loved it or felt it flopped, his previous album “Graffiti” was a great album in my opinion because the meaningful lyrics and melodies pertained to me and kept me entertain. I love and buy music because of the quality of the songs on the album not because of how many albums it sold, or how everyone else felt about it. As long as I loved it that’s all that matters… quality is far greater than quantity.

    @Alex, he’s using the right word because he’s in the process of forgiving his enemies and it’s written in present

    tense (happening right now) and doesn’t need a helping verb. However, the word “forgiven” which is a past participle verb is used if he has fully forgiven all his enemies, plus, grammatically, it needs a helping verb (has or have) to complete the title. For example, the title would read: Has Forgiven All My Enemies (H.F.A.M.E.).

    Also Chris’ mother has already explained what she meant by her statement weeks ago, so the ongoing disrespect is uncalled for. I admit she should have proofread what she intended to say before sending it but, since she has apologized and explained her intent was not demean Michael its time to let it go.
