I think Amerie is gorgeous! She looks good even as a blonde. I don’t think she’s intentionally trying to look like Bey. This color is much lighter than Beyonce’s hair color. I’m sure she just wanted to try something new and decided to not look the same way she has since she came into the music world. Women get bored with having a basic look. Anyway, I wish her success. I think it’s time for her to expand on what she’s brought to the table. Amerie is becoming to dimensional. We’ve seen her aggressive side and she’s done the go-go beats, but it’s much more to her than that. We need to see her vulnerable side and more creative side. She been trying to recreative this wild “1 thing” energy and I think she needs to listen to her first album and update that sound. Find inspiration from Talkin to me or Why don’t we fall in love! Amerie is just too caught up in her own image.

Blonde hair does not look good on everyone. If you’re gonna dye your hair go for a color that suits YOU. Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige can rock blonde hair because it looks good on them. Not so much on everyone else. And it strongly depends on the shade and hue you’re going for. Amerie might’ve pulled this off with a far more subtle shade of blonde. Platinum blonde doesn’t ever look good on black people, and rarely looks good on white people. It’s the one shade I would stay the hell away from if I were to go blonde.
