Janelle Monae performed a rousing rendition of ‘Tightrope‘ on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ last evening. The singer/songwriter wowed the crowd and the judges with her captivating voice and slick dancing. Peep her performance below:
This woman has to be 1 of the best artists the industry has witnessed in the years! Every time she hits the stage she leaves the audience in a state of complete awe. I sense that we will be hearing Monae’s name for a very long time, especially at the 2011 Grammy Awards where she is already considered a favourite to sweep every category in which she is nominated (and the nominations have not even been announced yet!). Astounding!

and her live performances are so damn energetic and creative. And she is such a unique creature herself. When I watch her perform I see a little female Prince and it so so crazy.

She is the best dam thing I’ve seen ever. I love her dancing, singing, her style, you go girl. I’m a white 48 year old female from Canada and I wish I could be her , she is so cute too. Janelle is too cool. I’m buying her c.d. and listen to it on the way up to Whistler. So Cool.
