The majority cited the mismatch of his trademark ‘dark visuals’ vs the colourful vibrance they expect from the ‘Only Goat’ video. This, despite not even knowing the video’s treatment.

She is and was created. She is unlike Beyonce (who developed organically and naturally with the help of stylists, hair dressers, her family, ect.) or Lady Gaga (Crazy b**** has her own ideas and uses the help of stylists and hair dressers) or other pop stars I can name.

Well, I will say this: I don’t think anyone can argue about how hard Beyonce & Lady Gaga work, nor can people argue about if they created most of their persona. Rihanna on the other hand always seems disconnected from the material she performs, and I have yet to see an interview where she can speak at length about the concepts behind her albums or stage productions.
This gives me a sneaking suspicion that she is, in fact disconnected from the creative process behind her persona, album and image…because of her performances and the way she speaks (content and articulation).
Watching someone like Beyonce backstage involved in every facet of her concerts, or Michael Jackson on his ‘This is it’ tour arranging and directing things, or Lady Gaga ‘gush’ about her music (that she writes, AND does the musical arrangement for) is just not the same as watching Rihanna cluelessly speak about the concepts behind her album.
You can clearly tell she doesn’t have much involvement in the decisions about her career. I can’t respect her as a risk taker, when someone engineered that “risk” during the GGGB era so it seemed like a risk. When in fact, it was calculated by someone other than her from the beginning.
We may never agree, but it’s quite clear to me that she is a “WORK OF ART” rather than an ARTIST herself.

I think this website has truly crossed the line when insulting Rihanna and her fans. I’ve been visiting this site for years, but I’m disappointed in the recent increase in the negativity of the posts. It’s one thing to voice your opinion, but to constantly berate someone is just wrong and rude. While I do listen to Rihanna and agree she is not the best singer, she is continually producing Top 10 hits. You can’t knock her for that. Insulting her practically everyday, if not more, just looks bad upon you and your website.
If you truly don’t agree with her talents or music, stop posting about her. It’s that simple. Post about artists you think do have talent, and introduce new music for others. That was the original reason I started visiting. I could learn something about artists I had never heard of. Now, its more about insulting any artist who you think does not have talent or the right attitude (Trey Songz, Mariah, Rihanna…).

As single artists they both tie at five #1’s, I’ll give her the two she was featured in, but with three albums Beyonce has almost doubled Rihanna’s sales with four albums. I will asked again, when did #1 singles, become more important than #1 successful albums? Beyonces singles does exactly what she need them to do sell her albums. Rihanna has released four albums going on five, has had massive promotion especially with her last album and has only had 15 to 17 million in sales? She has released more albums than any other females artist so she should have more number ones and top tens than she has right now. Beyonce has sold over 10 million albums more than Rihanna with only three albums, so she can’t be on the same level with Beyonce. Even in digital sales Beyonce not even being a singles artist is not far behind Rihanna . I think the STANS(not the fans) try to make Rihanna bigger and better than what she really is. Also, GAGA has taken Rihanna’s digitals sales crown with less #1 on billboard. Still wishing her the best in November, because it’s not her fault some of her STANS are the way they are.
